Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn – Entering Closed Beta

Square Enix announced today that Final fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will enter the Closed Beta phase for PC on Monday, February 25, welcoming the most loyal fans into the fully-redesigned, massively multiplayer online (MMO) adventure.

Apparently i was invited to the Alpha back in Dec. Well luckily i checked my email today and noticed all alpha testers automatically get into beta test starting with phase 1.

Doesn't say they all automatically get into Beta, it just says they have are able to participate in the Beta Test. You have apply for the Beta, regardless of being in the Alpha.

I got my invitation today as well. Looking forward to trying it out and seeing how I can help out.

I didn't have to apply. It clearly states "that all Alpha Testers will be able to participate in the Beta Test starting from phase 1" granted, we got to register the code they gave us, but it still means we automatically got in.

Signed up long ago to test for the PS3 version of FFxiv, never heard back before the game flopped... just recently signed up for the PS3 Beta of ARR, haven't heard back as of yet.

ps3 users get in in phase 3 which is around may. phase 1 is for people who stuck around during the remake.
