Gamnesia: With its expansive world, beautiful visuals, immersive battle-system, compelling story and hundreds of hours of gameplay, Xenoblade Chronicles wasn’t just one of the best games on the Wii, but one of the best games of all time. It should come as no surprise then that there’s a tremendous amount of excitement building about Monolith Soft’s next project.
Xenoblade developer Monolith Soft reflects on the past and future, talking about quality and striving for more.
Love their games. I wish they had more power to work with as they create awesome worlds but are limited by handheld specs. Hopefully Switch 2 upscaling can work some miracles with the lower end specs and gives the immersion that this world should have.
I'm looking forward to seeing more on what they'll do for Switch 2. Longs they maintain their standard and they have done it for
years.
Hope for Xenosaga 1-3 remaster one day whether they do it or not. They did it with Baiten Kaios.
i would love to play the xenoblade games, as im a big fan of the xeno series in general, but damn.
the anime style character looks and the mmo approach/inspiration the combat is not my cup of tea at all.
Nintendo Life: "If our hopes of some Monolith Soft Switch 2 goodness weren't already high enough, today, they reached a new peak as we learned that the team has added a fresh cutscene director to its ranks with a pretty beefy portfolio to his name."
Nintendo has finally acquired the remaining 4% of Monolith Soft's shares, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.
One of the best Nintendo first party developers who can squeeze most out of Nintendo platforms.
It si quite a feat that they managed to improve the graphics on Xenoblade Chronicles 3 in comparison to 2 as Digital Foundry pointed out in their tech review.
Imagine if Nintendo made a Next Gen Console stronger than the Series or PS5. They would completely crush the competition. I’m not a Nintendo fanboy in the slightest but let’s be real here, the only thing stopping Nintendo from world domination is the lack of power.
this is one of the projects of the wii u i am really looking foward to, this and bayonetta 2.
Why there is nothing about Xenosaga in this article? It's such a shame that Xenosaga, the origin of Monolith Soft's epicness, lacks an attention.
Zelda WW remake, X, Bayonetta 2 coming out, i buy WiiU.
Author is going to be disappointed, that was most definitely Shulk in the trailer, it will be a sequel.
