As an online gamer, I have found it very difficult to find the perfect MMO; an online game with minimal flaws that I won’t get bored with. I’ve played the majority of MMO titles: World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, Firefall, Rift, The War Z, The Secret World, Champions Online, DCUO, etc, etc. But, I always find myself thinking, “this game is good, but it’s not great.” Each title has its own strengths and uniqueness, but falls short in one area or another, creating a void that just has not been filled.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of beta registrations for “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” inviting players to explore new subterranean worlds beneath Azeroth.
Danish from eXputer: "Despite Blizzard's attempt to give a fresh new spin to World of Warcraft, some fans still seem to be stuck in the past."
HG writes: "Blizzard is usually pretty bad at keeping secrets, but the company somehow managed to keep this one under wraps until now. Plunderstorm is a special limited-time event that’s basically World of Warcraft’s take on the Battle Royale genre."
A mix between FF XI, WOW and SWTOR would be my perfect MMO.
The Perfect MMO would be Phantasy star online 2 with a little more action and actually open worlds instead of instances.
