UDON announced they have extended the deadline to submit art to be published in the upcoming World of Warcraft Tribute book - a compilation of fan art in tribute to the World of Warcraft.
UDON invites all art genres and styles whether it is clay sculptures, CGI, illustration, or paintings. Art students, amateurs or professionals are welcome.
UDON will choose about a thousand winners. The name of the winners will be written next to their piece of artwork.

Blizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of beta registrations for “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” inviting players to explore new subterranean worlds beneath Azeroth.

This is an excellent opportunity for artists to get their name and masterpiece on a published book.
What I remember from the panel is that the book will be seen by companies. The importance of this contest for artists is that these companies might reach out to UDON to ask the contact info of the person who submitted that piece of artwork they loved. A career might be on your horizon.
