Iwata to host Pokemon Nintendo Direct tomorrow

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata will host a Pokemon Nintendo Direct, indicating a game reveal is on the way.

My money is on Pokemon black and white 2 for 3DS with 3D graphics..... Or something similar like Ruby and saphire remake 3D...

Or , Generation 6 reveal comes out late this year.

Or , some sort of wiiu game.

I think there needs to be some emphasis on a Wii U pokemon game. I feel that will really help drive systems in the West.

But I think it will be a 3DS pokemon game. If Black & White can drive that many sales for the DS, imagine how many more 3DS units are going to move when Black & White 2 comes out..

Black and White 2 Is already out.... and it's a DS game. Releasing B/W2 on the 3DS won't move consoles, especially since you can already get it on the DS (and that version can be played on the 3DS already, so people who have a 3DS already own B/W2.)

In order for it to be something that sells 3DS systems, it would have to be something that isn't available for the DS already, (i.e. Ruby remake, or next gen of Pokemon) but who knows what this announcement is going to be.

Wii U game plz...please gimme a good reason to get it...not a friggin pokemon stadium-like game for a medocre Gale of Darkness RPG...gimme something to be excited about...remake Red/Blue in beautiful HD 3D where you han have some control over pokemon's moves and extra side missions(Catch a rattata for a young boy...defeat 6 Ghastly before you reach the ghost cubones mother's ghost). Please for the love of God just give us something worth getting excited over.

I'd take a 3DS remake of R/S but this seems to be quite a big deal. If I remember corrctly the last remakes didnt get their own press conferences.

A Wii U game will probably connivence me to buy a Wii U within the next year. Right now I have no plans to buy it for quite a while.

I still remember when I first got Safire version, so hearing that a remake for it just make me go crazy with joy.

Nintendo NEEEVER gets involved with pokemon announcements, so for them to debut something through them instead of through Pokemon Smash (japanese tv show that announces stuff) must be big. Has to be 6th gen or a proper Wii U title.

I'm hoping for either a 3DS game that's available through the eShop & retail, or the first ever traditional, split in two Pokemon game that's not handheld. I wonder what they'll call the next game.

I would love to see a Pokémon game that will have cross platform play like what is rumored for Smash Bros. Any true Pokémon game though is a welcome announcement.
