Indie studio Chromativity's football tactics game Fluid Football has already been downloaded 500k times on iPhone and iPad, with the developer predicting it will match that number on Android by Christmas. The developer is also thinking about PC, Mac and console versions of its word-of-mouth hit.
Much like its predecessor, Fluid Football, there's nothing particularly wrong with Fluid Football Versus.
It's a fun little distraction with the occasional neat idea. The asynchronous multiplayer on offer here is a welcome addition, and there's a good chunk of single-player content too.
Turn-based mobile games don't come in a more appealing package than Fluid Football VS, the social successor to last year's original title.
A must for socially-active sports fans, Fluid Football isn't perfect, but it's damn fun.
