"Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified is real, and we’ve played it. I think the highest compliment I can pay it is to say that, well, it looks and plays like Call of Duty. The running and gunning, the aiming down the sights, the familiar Bank Gothic notices popping up when you land a long-range shot or end an opponent’s killstreak, the weapon loadouts and multiplayer modes — they’re all here, rendered on PS Vita’s luscious OLED screen and playable with dual analog sticks in a mobile setting for the first time."
Especially when you look at Uncharted GA, Killzone Mercs, Gravity Rush, Tearaway, and Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation, to name a few. They all look fantastic, or damn near their current-gen console counterparts. Why can't Call of Duty look better than their iPhone game, or PSP game on the Vita?
Killzone looks insane because GG is actually implementing it.
After reading the article, i've decided to give this game a chance. Killer graphics are nice, but they're not what makes a game good.
I'm not a fan of zombies but it doesn't sound like that'll be part of it although they mention a "survival" mode.
It's really disappointing that other games such as MLB The Show and PS All Stars have cross platform play while this CoD port is a joke. Cross platform play for Call of Duty between Vita and PS3 would've been a killer app.
Although nearing its release date, I am not sure if they are able to change that within a small time frame that they have.
If we are being optimistic about things, let us hope that it is an older build that they are letting people sample, thus the disappointing visuals and frame rate. Cheers.
