This is a good example of really bad marketing. Especially from Pitchford. You aren't supposed to be all giggly like a schoolgirl that just won Justin Beiber tickets. You are supposed to be the school girl that was just told she is going to be raped and killed. It isn't a comedy they are making, it's supposed to be a tense life THEN death encounter.

If I got to add my own personal interpretation of the true alien 3 to canon and have it blessed by fox and Ridley Scott I'd be like a dog on speed. Frankly the fact this guy can talk without screaming his nuts off with excitement is a testament to his professionalism because I would have a permanent erection by this point.

Also it's a bunch of interviews. The devs are giving us a really cool insight into the making of the game via a behind the scenes trailer - how the hell is that meant to be scary? What part of that sounds like it's intended to be scary? Do Silent Hill devs give interviews while undergoing mutilation or do you just want Randy Pitchford to do a Dark Knight style impersonation for atmosphere?

I'm not liking the whole COD style heads up markers and displays. I hope that's just for the multiplayer portion of the game.

I thought that was just the smart gun interface? If not these guys are clearly aiming to give us a horror experience so I wouldn't worry about this game going CoD.

The Saboteur - criminally underrated and a fantastic mechanic of bringing colour back to Nazi-occupied Paris.

The article lists Bulletstorm, Sleeping Dogs, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Can't argue with any of those really, but I would add Resident Evil Operation Racoon City and Metal Gear Survive to that list. Both terrible games from good franchises.

Bulletstorm, I actually liked the gameplay but the atrocious writing and characters made me despise the game by the end of it.

I still play AvP on PS3 to this day. That game had fun multiplayer too.
