Actually if you are reading current DC comics or issues from their most recent years , that's all they have been about ... full retarded grey scales and darker tones that only fit batmans and its family titles .
Most of their event have been about those heroes being obtus , bickering and making poor decisions , in an (saleswise successful) attempt to duplicate Marvel's "realistic" approach . While Marvel is currently trying to go lighter and more "heroic" .
Personally i dont get it , when i want something darker and grittier than superman , i dont go around expecting a darker story , i just read something else .
Both DC's and Marvel's approach were good , no need for them to clone each other so much .
I wonder if it's Frank Miller's Superman, which is Superboy Prime level of whining...
