They should do exactly as Microsoft offered with the 360 and have an entry level Arcade and then a Pro version. Pro being the black WiiU of course with a host of other features such as a 250GB usb hdd, Wiimote+ w/nunchuk, and pre loaded digital copy of NSMB-U and say NG3 since Nintendo is publishing that game as well.
Why is the pro version being black such an obvious thing to you? Plenty of "pro" or "hardcore" gamers like the white Wii U. Same with casual, many prefer a black one.
Because black in any form of electronics always projects a more serious tone. Which is why the Wii launched in white, because it presented a more inviting and less intense approach. Its called market research!
Ok the perfect bundle (IMO) would be the black Wii U with more internal storage maybe 60GB? ;) 1 pro Controller, 2 Wii Gamepads, and a game, preferably one of the following: Nintendoland, New Super Mario Bros. U, or Zombie U. That I could go for :D Although the internal storage seems unlikely a good replacement like a decent sized SD card would be nice, but sadly also doubtful. Just have to get that separate I guess. :p As for the price... I guess we'll have to wait and find out.
once you go black...you realize you bought the best version of Wii U...unless they make the see through version of the consoles like back in N64 days lol.
Just want a Black Wii U Game Pad for launch.
I realise that the white may be better for some but the lit Black WiiU is Sexy.
I don't need Wii-motes or a Balance Scale and I don't need the game. I would be 100% happy with the most stripped down version possible.
I doubt that they go the different sized Hard drive SKU route. I think that the 8 GB Flash hd is probably right. I'll just buy a cheap USB Ext Hard Drive (if I need more than 8GBs).
I imagine one will be bundled with wii u gamepad and nintendo land(basic) and another will have that,a second game pad and nsmb u(pro)basic will be 250-300 and pro will be 300 or more(guessing)
i dont see them adding a bundle with a second gamepad yet seeing as how they havent even shown games to use two yet (they obviously added the ability recently since they had nothing to show of it). But they will probably do that with an extra Pro Controller since that will probably be what developers of core games lean towards for multiplayer instead of making others use Wiimotes.
Multiple bundles is all this will be. Some will have different games or extra controllers (Wiimotes, Pro Controllers, etc.) but Nintendo has already said no on hard drives so it's a no. I don't see something like that happening just so they can keep costs of the system down. I don't have a problem buying SD cards or USB drives for extra memory. Fine by me.

How many games has this neutered for the 360?

Shouldn't all this launch stuff be sorted by now they are launching it this year...
