So here's to hoping for the best. An anonymous source from Sony communicated with Pixelitis, stating that PSone Classics will be hitting the Vita by the end of this month.
While it was previously stated at this year's E3 that they would be available in the summer, we hope that tomorrow's Sony's PlayStation Store Update will in fact have these games up for Vita users.
Our source also stated that Nariko, the protagonist from Heavenly Sword, will be a playable character in PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale. It was also noted that there is the possibility of having a few Mortal Kombat characters in the punch fest.
Pixelitis has reached out to both SCEA and Heavenly Sword developer Ninja Theory, but so far there has been no response as of this posting.
We'll be updating the story if the situation changes.
If any, please only one. They must get as many different franchises represented without any one having too much character support.
Nariko is a fine choice but I would hope that someone like Kat still makes it. Nariko would not be my first female choice.
as for PS1 Classics: that would be great. But I am going to bet that the upcoming Gaming Heaven PSV event for Japan will be used to highlight the PS1 emulator before it releases in any region (maybe by like a couple days).
It'd be awesome if she was in it.
I'm pretty far into Gravity Rush right now and really like it.
Then they look her up, say, "Oh, I have a Vita. I should check this game out."
I want her in it, though. She's so absolutely adorable. DAMN, I HATE THIS LAST BOSS BATTLE!!!
Still, very interested to see who else they announce.
As for the PS1 games on Vita, I can't wait. I have 28 PS1 games on my PS3 waiting to be transferred over to my Vita.
I hope SONY get off their behinds and quit making rubbish like Motorstorm and Resistance and make a sequel to what was for me the first truly next gen game this generation.
I absolutely loved HS! :(
Besides, I really can't see this happening by the end of June. It's the 26th. They would've said something by now, and more than likely PSone Classic support will come with the launch of several PSone Classics at the same time, which will only happen on Tuesdays. The last Tuesday of June is today, and the only PSone Classic we're getting is The Little Mermaid II.
If only Suikoden II could be one of 'em.
Who do I need to write angry letters to about that? Sony? Konami?
Hopefully we can transfer our saves too! Anyone knows?
