Dishonored managed to garner a strong hype since it was announced it was increasing with each new trailer and information that was being released. Embodying Corvo, a bodyguard of the Empress who is implicated in her murder early in the game. Although it was soon arrested Crow manages to escape right away thanks to the help of a group of rebels who want to eliminate the real killers and return power to the rightful owner, the daughter of the Empress.
In a world that is very different inspirations, from London to former or current elements that give a touch of futuristic steampunk the Dishonored, the search for the daughter of the Empress is the main objective, however the much more happening and surround the main narrative .
It’s a shame, really, that so few games have “borrowed” Dishonored’s Blink – in the right hands, such a power could be game-changing.
There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.
Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.
Dishonored's engaging lore, creative levels, and timeless gameplay are well worth revisiting for fans of the immersive sim and stealth genre.
