Parasite Eve 3, that was supposed to be a mobile exclusive has just been announced for PSP.

It's surprising but I guess it's possible as Parasite Eve is a japanese novel first. But it's still a bit weird because I thought that the rights to make a movie and those to make a videogame were two different things.

I didn't get into ff7 till I was 10 or so. So paradise eve might have been too violent for me. Wasn't a fan of horror stuff back in the day.

lol @ paradise eve...Parasite Eve was a cool turn based, but real time RPG in which you moved the character yourself until it was your turn...you could upgrade and customize your guns and armor, crazy storyline, good graphics, cool cutscenes, fun gameplay and a nice soundtrack...the usual Squaresoft hit

That was the one thing that pissed me off about the Parasite Eve 3 announcement was that it was on mobile and we wouldn't get it in the US but with this we will get to play it and Parasite Eve is one of my favorite series from back in the PS days.

You don't want to play the second one, they took all the fun out of the first one to make a fake ass Resident Evil clone in the PE universe. Most of the RPG elements were scrapped and it played JUST like RE except with super moves and slight leveling up features, don't even remember if you could upgrade your weapons like the first. Vagrant Story is still the spiritual successor to PE.

I never got to play Vagrant Story too. After FF8 I stopped playing RPG's on the PS1. I regret it now, but hopefully some of these games will be revamped and ported to the PSP like Tales of Eternia and Valkyrie Profile.

Yeah I agree I would much rather have a new Parasite Eve on the next gen consoles however I think SE isn't sure about the selling power of the franchise if 3rd Birthday does well then maybe we can expect more which would be great. Personally I think the Parasite Eve series is one of the better series the PlayStation ever saw.

Could be that ACC will contain a bonus Blu Ray with a FFXIII demo and new HD trailers of FF Vs XIII and FF Agito XIII. I hope the actual announcement is saved for last though, because that wasn't such a big deal, considering how big XIII going to 360 was.

Square-enix's must sexiest series on a handheld. You get to play as Aya Brea (I think thats here last name) on the go. Finally an F'n sequel to one of my favorite games. Seriously the past two parasite games looked pretty good for a PSone game but imagine if they used the FF7CC or the Dissdia graphic engine (I'm not sure but i think they both use the same engine) on this game. Man this game, FF13agito, KHbbs, and KZR makes want to buy a new PSP slim just so I can play these games on a tv. HOLY SH!T I JUST IMAGINED WHAT AYA'S SHOWER SCENE WOULD LOOK LIKE ON THE PSP.
