Hitman Series and Assassin's Creed Series Both are Awesome

Assassin's Creed, a great addition to the stealth genre.....

....that doesn't include a crouch button, instead you have to casually walk or leap from bush to bush in plain sight of enemies.

Stealth!

Assassins Creed tried to do something diferent at the time i was actually impressed with the concept by blending with the crowd but that was 2006/07 when AAA games still used to have some originaly to them nowdays that´s not so common.

The Stealth genre still is very little on originality at least games like Dishonored, SC:Blacklist and MGS5:Ground Zeroes include some new and interesting ways of evolving stealth.

That title just makes my brain hurt.

Also, a whole list about stealth games with not a mention of either Metal Gear Solid, Dishonored or Deus Ex is pretty ridiculous. Especially since Beyond was on the list for the two levels that you *sort of* had to sneak through, and the Buried at Sea DLC because... reasons.

Summons753658d ago

Bioshock, Beyond? I don't know if this guy knows what stealth is...

Batman and Assassin's Creed have minimal stealth at best but they clearly are not stealth focused games. What about Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Thief? You know ACTUAL games that are focused on stealth, even Deus Ex could be considered one in part since you can take most if not all mission by stealth and they reward you for it.

List of good games no doubt but only a few of those were actual stealth games.

Dishonored, Deus Ex, Metal Gear Solid

kinda stupid article with about only 4 stealth games on list... hitman and assassins creed. Two souls is borderline...

A Matter Of Trust: What The Game Industry Should Do To Win Gamers Back

Skewed and Reviewed have written an Opinion Piece covering issues in the gaming industry, how current issues were issues years ago, and what can be done to help restore consumer trust.

Nothing. It's up to the gamers to stop consuming content from companies that they don't agree with.

Garethvk1d 12h ago

How do you know if you agree with it or not unless you play it? Which without conventions forces gamers to rely on trailers. Perhaps Demos should be made more frequently. But companies need to do better as well.

anast1d 12h ago

Wait until release. Watch Gameplay. Exercise patience.

Garethvk1d 11h ago

But is that not what they have now? Tons of gameplay or are you talking about watching actual gamers play it versus the trailers and streams? The big issue is that some companies pay streamers and influencers and they create content but for me; that is hardly a fair, unbiased, and factual look at a game.

Get rid of the suits in the industry and job done!!

Garethvk1d 12h ago

They usually are attached to the money sadly. It would be nice to have gamers in charge but you have so much money invested that business people are needed. Hence the issue; you need people who know business but are also gamers who know have an eye to the community. It sounds simple in theory that if you give gamers quality games that they want to play; money will be made. But that is not always so.
