Top 5 gaming franchises we want to see resurrected

Sometimes there are games that developed a large following, but the franchise gets left on the shelves to collect dust. Rumors will hit here and there with hints that the franchise may possibly see the light of day again, but ultimately nothing happens. Tenchu?

Yes, I know, shut up Bathyj.

Tenchu wasn't very good. It was pretty awful actually.

Apparently From Software owns the rights to the series. i'd rather they worked on the Souls series or something new.

Interesting. Never realized that From made XBLA Tenchu games in 2007 & 2008. The character creator in tenchu z is like an early version of the character creator in the souls games.

Anyways my memories of the PS1 game were that it was horrible.

Well I'm sorry for you that you feel that way. It had it's problems, like the controls and terrible voice acting, but the levels and music were awesome and for many of us it was the first taste of stealth gaming, (it came out before metal gear solid).

I played that game to death. Sneaking and slitting throats never gets old for me. I just want the series to get the AAA treatment it deserves.

Ooo Rival Schools :D

Although Project Justice was pretty poor after the awesomeness of the original.

This is pretty dumb because the No1 on the list IS ALREADY being remade... megaman aka mighty no 9.

So if you wanted to see it remade, you didn't have to write this article. You could have just donated to the kickstarter.

I'm good on reboots. There have been plenty of them. Lets see some new stuff.

Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster Review – An Epic Tale Of Pixelated Portrayals

Gary Green said: We’re finding ourselves in a similar position with the Pixel Remaster edition of Final Fantasy IV as we were with Final Fantasy III since, once again, we’ve received a slightly upscaled, more vibrant port of the original game when there’s already an expanded 3D remake available. As such, we’re playing a game which, even after its long-awaited release, still lives very much in the shadow of its remake.

If only they didn't screw ps4 owners over with a physical release. I'd have ran through this in a heartbeat.

The first one I played, it was the one that made me fall in love with JRPGs and is still my favorite to this day. A masterpiece
