Push Square: "If the impending next generation felt like a far away dream when you lurched out of bed this morning, then today’s initial roster of hardware and software reviews should have shaken you out of your slumber. Indeed, at the time of writing, Sony’s next generation console is mere hours away – but how have the first batch of verdicts affected your anticipation for this week’s North American launch?"
Gary Green said: We’re finding ourselves in a similar position with the Pixel Remaster edition of Final Fantasy IV as we were with Final Fantasy III since, once again, we’ve received a slightly upscaled, more vibrant port of the original game when there’s already an expanded 3D remake available. As such, we’re playing a game which, even after its long-awaited release, still lives very much in the shadow of its remake.
If only they didn't screw ps4 owners over with a physical release. I'd have ran through this in a heartbeat.

nope.
Hell no, journalist have their opinions i have mine while i do watch/ read their reviews i would have already made my mind up about something just watching review for others input.
I'm ready 2 more days of suffering!!!
I would imagine for those that are dead set on it, it wouldn't affect them at all.
I would imagine there might be a few people who were on the fence about purchasing one and maybe now after seeing some of the reviews come in have decided to hold off on their purchase.
But regardless, you should never let anyone else tell you what you will or won't enjoy.
Nope, if your buying a PS4 for it's launch games... You shouldn't be buying a PS4.
By the same merit, if you follow the mainstream gaming media reviewers every word... That must be a horrible life. Considering it's the same game media who almost always has no idea what they're talking about.
