Diablo 3 Pushes 14 Million Copies Despite Criticism

CraveOnline writes: "Activision Blizzard's latest financial call revealed that Diablo 3 has accumulated a total of 14 million units sold across all platforms since its debut in May 2012. Its release on PS3 and Xbox 360 this year can be thanked for around 2 million of the total."

It's a really fun couch co-op game on console. The PC version is not great though. This coming from a PC gamer.

The only reason pc got so much was because they give it out for free. If you buy wow annual pass and get Diablo III Free.

Yeah I played the Beta on PC and it was fun but really wasn't mind blowing. Might give it a go once it's on PS4 so I can play with a controller.

Anyways, i think a lot of fans regret buying this game, and i think some got a refund for it. I certainly went back to D2 again, because it simply didn't have lasting appeal for me.

The PC version is greatly improved from the initial release, but I think get frustrated when the lag happens and my character is left standing and can't do anything for a few seconds. Then, bam, he's dead. I lost count of how many times that happened. I wish there was an off line option.

Is it just me, but I always enjoy Diablo games and then I get 50 to 70 % into the game and then I just stop playing it.

D3 is garbage & criticism is justified because this game is a disgrace compare to the old ones I would prefer to play the original from PS1 days a game released 17 years ago than play this trash this retard Jay Wilson create for the casual noobs of WoW because this game was made for them & not for the true Diablo fans of the previous 2 "original" Diablo games from Blizzard North.

I'd been meaning to try that out, but I just got too many games, and they just keep stacking up, although I've been making pretty good progress on everything. I still got to finish Ni No Kuni, Tales of Xillia, and Disgaea D2 (although with Disgaea in particular finish is kinda strong, lol), and those are just the biggest time sinks I have.

Hehe we're the same. I decided not to buy Diablo III because i still busy with Dragon's Crown & Xillia. Not to mention i need to get Disgaea D2 and Guided Fate Paradox. To many game but so little time & money to get them all >.<

The current PC version of D3 is complete garbage.

But looking at all the leaks and info we know about the Expansion, I'd say its very likely the game will be awesome when the Xpac lands, so I guess it wasnt money wasted.

My brother bought d3 for PC and I never even bothered with it. They had no pvp half the systems they implemented were broken and I didnt like the direction they took the game. If I ever do get D3 it will be when the expansion hits and I can see the improvements before touching it.
