Yesterday, we received a note from Astro Gaming (whom we've recently spoken with about next-gen audio) indicating that their headsets will work for chat on the PlayStation 4… just not right away. This prompted us to dig a little deeper and find out what gaming headset owners can expect on November 15.
Gary Green said: We’re finding ourselves in a similar position with the Pixel Remaster edition of Final Fantasy IV as we were with Final Fantasy III since, once again, we’ve received a slightly upscaled, more vibrant port of the original game when there’s already an expanded 3D remake available. As such, we’re playing a game which, even after its long-awaited release, still lives very much in the shadow of its remake.
If only they didn't screw ps4 owners over with a physical release. I'd have ran through this in a heartbeat.
The first one I played, it was the one that made me fall in love with JRPGs and is still my favorite to this day. A masterpiece
The Nerd Stash: "The Wasteland is unforgiving, and there are a ton of brutal ways to die in the Fallout universe. We listed out the absolutely worst ones."
While many are fans of the Honkai Star Rail story so far, The Nerd Stash believes that the deaths of Robin and Firefly no longer carry much weight.
They're right about it being complicated!
I use the PS3 wireless 7.1 surround headset http://m.au.ign.com/article... which I really like. I think it uses a USB for both audio and chat, I've never had to pair the devices so I don't think any part is Bluetooth.
I thought they'd been confirmed to work with the PS4 http://www.polygon.com/2013...
Does this mean I'll get audio with the PS4 but not chat till an update? Has anyone been to a trade show and used the headset pictured in the polygon article with a ps4?
Guess the ps4 isn't perfect after all I thought my xp400s would work. Interesting though must be a different Bluetooth driver
Do they even have a source? cause as far as i can see there is no source to speak of and i thought it was already confirmed all existing PS3 compatible headsets will work on PS4. If this is true then that update better happen REAL soon after launch or else that's going to cause a major shitstorm
That's pretty dumb if you ask me. The PS4 has both blue-tooth and USB ports. Not taking advantage of those features, like supporting different headset brands is beyond my understanding.
Hopefully they'll fix it.
The PS3 does it perfectly, why they'd downgrade their features is something i think might have to do with the fact that every PS4 already comes with a headset? I dunno, but it's pretty frustrating for those who have 100$+ headsets at home.
Whatever it requires I'll just buy. Big deal guys. It's not a deal-breaker. You're making more of this than it really is.
