Ace Combat 7 is one of the best games of the past generation. It doesn't need VR gimmicks to "redeem" it.
I have enjoyed nearly every single Ace Combat to death (except that helicopter shooting one) and have never needed VR once to enjoy it greatly
^^^ I'm guessing you've never actually tried it in VR then? VR elevates games like this way beyond just a gimmick, just ask any GT fan who owns a PSVR 2. You may not need VR to have a good time but it's an absolute game changer and something that shouldn't be dismissed as a gimmick.

Spoken like someone who never played it. But who are we kidding. We know why VR hate. No one is fooled here.
@PapaBop: I tried it in VR before any of you ever did, since the game wasn't even out yet. It's a gimmick, disjointed from the AC7's main gameplay and far removed from its best parts.
It's nothing more than a limiting factor, as Ace Combat's most complex missions require hardware power to be focused on other things. That's why the VR missions are very basic.
If you think Ace Combat's strengths are even close to the platform it's on, VR or non-VR, you obviously aren't an Ace Combat fan.
In any case, I suggest you folks prepare yourself for disappointment. There's a reason why the VR gimmick was never expanded, and it's that, besides a few fanatics who care for evangelizing their VR fad more than they care for the franchise, no one gave a flying F.
The developers are going to use the resources to make the whole game better for everyone instead.
Can we get a new Ace Combat, with full vr and not just three or four levels, for PS5 and PSVR2
Also if we could get a remake of my all time favorite, Ace Combat5: The Unsung War, again with full vr for every mission with DualSense and flight stick haptics.
I just want them to remaster AC4 and AC5, a new AC with better more realistic looking world and planes would be great too
Getting a victory in Fortnite Battle Royale is more more challenging after the recent change.

- Sony is the console operator with largest number of 1st party studios, with many award wining developers, meaning a consistent and steady flow of high quality and variety exclusives.
- many exclusive AAA 3rd party games from Japan like Yakuza Ishin, Guilty Gear, Deep Down, Dynasty Warriors, SCE have a new 3rd party production team that will get the games localized.

- neat compact design with no huge power brick make it a pleasure to look at and easy to carry to a friends house

- KillzoneSF is the the most beautiful looking FPS with dynamic lighting, particle effects and moving foliage. also 1080p/60fps MP, with bots and costume rule warzones and everything unlocked from the start.
- if you want it for the kids or you are an old school fan Knack is the best game for you.

Not sure why this is even a consideration. Are we keeping the pre order to the dominate console of Next gen? Hmmmm. Exclusive content on Watch Dogs, AC4 and Destiny. Plus the exclusives with infamous SS in Feb... free AAA games on PS Plus.... Best controller ever in the DS4. I just don't know....

They will sell so well that the price won't change for years so you won't save anything by waiting.
You know you'll get one eventually so it might as well be now.
Xbone however will struggle after the initial buzz is over and a price drop will happen at some point in 2014. That is when you should pick one up for Halo 5.
