Rayman Legends may be multiplatform in the west, but it’s still a Wii U exclusive in Japan.

going to have to import the PSV version now.

I remember the PSV version of Origins when it launched here. It with the PS3 version were brand new da 1 at $25 and that was why i snatched it up.
One of my best purchases ever.

MrMister3890d ago

Didn't you see the Wii U tag at the top of this article? That must be why so many Nintendo fans thumbed you down. They don't like it when people act like their console of choice isn't the only one in existence :/

chadboban3890d ago

Nope, that's just fanboys in general.

sinncross3890d ago

@MrMister
I suppose you are right.

I live in Japan and dont own a WiiU... if the game is only WIiU here then I have to import it if I want it which just means added costs.

lilbroRx3889d ago (Edited 3889d ago )

No, Nintendo fans don't like it when Sony fanboys clutter up articles that have 0% to do with Sony with stuff promoting Sony.

Especially when they do it in the very FIRST post. This happens in every article that speaks positively about the Wii U version of a game.

Don't twist it into them being like you. The reason they don't like it is because they "do know" that their console is not the only one in existence and that they're are already plenty of articles where you can go boast about Vita and the PS3 elsewhere as result. It has long since become redundant.

admiralvic3889d ago

You do know that the Vita version has 30 less levels, right?

reploidmega3890d ago

Wii U version for me.
That's what the game was designed on and it's looking like it'll be a blast to play.

lizard812883890d ago (Edited 3890d ago )

I'll buy it too, but man, there are so many games coming out in a short amount of time. I'll get it eventually, but not now. Games I want to get this year for the Wiiu are

Mario 3D World
DKC:TF
Sonic Lost World
Wind Waker HD

I got The WW Bundle and I pre-ordered SLW for the special edition. I know Wonderful 101, Rayman Legends and Bayonetta 2 will gets price drops. It sounds bad, but I don't want to spend $400+ on video games. Plus that is ONLY for the Wiiu too. I still want PC and 3DS games too. My poor wallet.

reploidmega3890d ago

Yeah, I know right?
On top of indie games, I'm not sure I'll even have enough money to give.XD

BlackWolf3890d ago (Edited 3890d ago )

Well, Nintendo is taking care of the publishing over there after all.

carreirabr3890d ago

Lets hope it sells more than all those 5k 101 wonderful copies.

Will There Ever Be A New Rayman Game?

Ubisoft barely have a leg to stand on lately, so do they need to crack open the vaults and return platforming royalty to glory for some goodwill?

We need Rayman 4, they could make a great platformer game if they wanted. With the open hub levels and the like.

Better than relying on Rabbids and Assassins Creed all the time

Profchaos56d ago

Yeah agree id love a Rayman 2 style 3d platform game over another 2d platformer I know people loved legends but it never gelled with me same as Rayman 1 back in the day on PS it just felt like a average platformer with sonic and Mario offering something better on what was then last gen hardware

Terry_B57d ago

Yes..but I am sure it won't be the Rayman game fans want. Not from the company that is Ubisoft today.

mastershredder57d ago (Edited 57d ago )

Ancel is retired from games. His hoodlum/rabbid team are doing their own thing. It would not be the same if Ubisoft did.

Profchaos56d ago

Probably far more profitable to make low effort Rabbids games aimed at kids over a next Rayman

Chocoburger57d ago

Experience points, skill trees to fill up, level gating, endless menial tasks and side quests, constantly scrounging for resources. Always having to upgrade your gear. A.KA. "The Ubisoft effect".

No thanks, don't ruin Rayman's legacy.

Profchaos56d ago

Sure there will be it'll launch right alongside the next splinter cell

Rayman Legends - 10 Years of Legendary Platforming

Rayman Legends made its debut 10 years ago today, and has been launched on nearly every gaming platform since.

HankHill239d ago

Too bad Ubisoft only cares about live service games now. Maybe one day they'll make a new Rayman game.

Venoxn4g239d ago

Great games.. would be cool to get qn Origins remaster at least..I know that many of the levels are in Legends, but still

Outlawzz239d ago

Loved this game but wish they would create a new Rayman 3d game.
