Another Game Revealed For September's PlayStation Plus Update

"Urban Trial Freestyle will be joining Assassin’s Creed in September’s PlayStation Plus update.

Urban Trial Freestyle is quite similar to the titles in the Trials series, but it’s also a very good game. We scored it at 8/10 in our review back in February, describing it as “a very good stunt game that has the potential to provide hours of entertainment”."

PS3 Or Vita version? or both?

theEx1Le3900d ago

I would hope both, like Limbo.

TheGrimOfDeath3900d ago

That would not buy possible because Urban Trials Freestyle doesn't support Cross-Buy, so it's either the PS3 or PS Vita version that is free.

I think it's the PS3 version. :P

Hicken3900d ago

Cross buy isn't coded into the game. It's a business decision.

If Sony wants to make both versions of the game free, then it'll be free.

Will this be for US or EU PS Plus?

Im about to get psplus at some point before the ps4 releases, would someone kindly explain to me how this work, does the free games go once a month or every 2 weeks?

thanks in advance.

theEx1Le3900d ago

They come in increments. They are usually all announced at the start of the month with say the first 2 of four replacing the games from the previous month. Then half way through the month the others get added replacing the other two that were added at the same period the previous month. This is all on top of the "welcome" games which are always present (3 Ps3 games + 2 Vita games) and are changed once a year (so far).

There are occasions that there are more games added right away though, which is always good.

thanks, appears to be looking interesting so far.

i bought it the day after they announced it would carry to ps4 at E3. Well worth it.
how it works is the first week of the month is a big game. this month was hitman last month was saints row 3...
then each week they update with a smaller or vita game.
this week we got star wars pinball on both ps3 and vita (3 tables) last month we got the hd version of both jet grind radio and munchies oddessy

as you can see it is all about variety. You may not greatly like EVERY game it gives, but it gives so much that you would never of thought to try if you were paying. Like a few months back they gave Xcom Enemy Unknown, a game I had ignored. A game that was a ton of fun once I downloaded and played it. now I can't wait for enemy within.
