South African release date for PS4 confirmed

You know... I'm really not embarrassed to admit I'm slowly admitting to being a Sony fanboy.

I mean, is it really so unreasonable to want to be a part of the Sony community at this point? I don't think so. I don't think so.

The console is cheaper, more powerful, has more games, has more/better 1st party support, has an excellent online service, and excellent game library, abundance of new online features, a vastly improved controller, and is cheaper.

I'm a fan of Sony, having bought two PSOne consoles, five PS2 consoles, two PSP handhelds, A PS3 Phat (which is currently my only console) and I paid off the £350 for the PS4 in july but I would never call myself a fanboy, nor would I want to be one. I have no allegiances with an electronics company. For me, gaming is just a hobby. Not something my life revolves around. Becoming a fanboy makes you blind and for some reason, hateful towards other electronic companies. Becoming a fanboy also makes it much easier for you to bend over a take it, due to loss of logic and reasoning. If Sony ever makes a mistake, you can be damn sure i'll pick up on it. Fanboys however lack this

I'm a fanboy. And I say it with pride. But if you think being a fanboy means being stupid and easily manipulated you are wrong. I don't like Naughty Dog, and Infamous 1 and 2 were okay, but didn't live up to their potiential and yet I still prefer Sony because even without those 2 franchises, I still have quite a selection of games. With M$, if you don't like Gears or Halo, you're pretty much ******! I will never buy an M$ console ever again. I am with Sony for life, but that doesn't mean that I will let them bend me over like you. If they start pulling some M$ stunts, you damn right I won't defend them like these xbots so desperately do for their cable box. If the PS5 is lame, I will just play all my old Sony systems. They have many to choose from. I have 3 PSPs, 1 Vita, 1 PSOne, 1 PS2, and 1 PS3, with a PS4 already pre-ordered. Most fanboys are stupid and never see anything wrong with their console, but not me.

I owned a 360 for four years, having only recently sold it and I have never bought a Halo or Gears title in my life. I still enjoyed the console a great deal despite having no interest in Halo, Gears, Fable, Kinect or FPS
