Techradar - In the film Invasion of the Body Snatchers, something terrible happens to an entire town: aliens invade, replacing every human with a doppelgänger.
I think something similar is happening right now, but instead of space aliens the culprit is Sony - and instead of a Californian town, it's replaced everybody involved in selling the Xbox One
Companies, particularly public companies like Microsoft, need to grow.
i mean its pretty simple, they spent close to 30 billion in acquiring activision, they thought they'd make it bk no problem, and that didnt happen.
its just shit that because of MS's miscalculation alot of people lost their jobs.
They are going to use AI for a large portion of the game development process. Upper management need bonuses and the shareholders need more money. So, people will lose their jobs.
They shouldn't have bought any studios. Some is okay...but they went on a shopping spree...stupid
I was sceptical about Apex Legends’ Solos mode. Now I’m engrossed
The magnificent Prey was once again abandoned as Microsoft disregarded Arkane Austin's achievements and crucified it just for Redfall.
well, not entirely ... the main Arkane studio i.e Arkane Lyon's still there ...
Its only that, the sequel will take more time now ... after Blade & Dishonored 3
Not even this Prey
Still longing for a sequel to the original Prey with Tommy
The studio didn't even want to call this Prey, it was just Bethesda being dicks to them for some reason.
Keep dreaming then as Prey and Dishonored 2 did not sell well enough to get sequels.
Hence we got Deathloop and Redfall instead.
Ouch.
We'll see what happens but based on the pre-order numbers, Microsoft has a long road ahead.
Microsoft don't want people to buy Xbox One.
Here is a question, what happens when key third party titles, like Battlefield 4 and CoD sell better on the PS4 then the Xbox One? If Microsoft lets that happen, then they will have completely shot themselves in the foot.
"Microsoft's goal of playing "a significant role in TV advertising" wasn't really possible until the launch of the New Xbox Experience in 2011, and this time around it's thinking about advertising from the get-go....
Your console will use Kinect to work out who's in the room and your Xbox LIVE account to mine your demographic information, and it'll use that data to more precisely target advertising. That advertising will be more intrusive than before, too, because we're too good at ignoring ads.."
No thanks, all I want to do is game on my gaming console and not be spied on whilst doing it.
I give up.
