IGN: A month ago, ASUS revealed their new 4K-capable PC monitor. The screen size is 31.5'' inches that features 4X the resolution of current day HD monitors. The display is Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO)LED display that can produce one billion colors. It features a 3840 x 2160 resolution, an ultra crisp 140 PPI, and 16:9 aspect ratio.

Yeah it cost about 5500 right now but give it a few years, it will probably be more affordable in about 2 years when 4k content starts to take off..

Yeah still expensive, 1480p and 1600p are more reasonable
The best 1480p/1600p has a lag time of 5-8ms, which is border line too slow for some people for quick fps gaming. Now this monitor (didn't see the ms rate listed), Im going with a 8-10ms lag. No ty.
not worth it when you can get a 39" 4k tv for under $700 only issue is that it's 30hz but if you wait 6/7 months from now even the cheap 4k TV's will be able to due 60hz!
