Renegade Kid comments further about regaining Moon IP

nintendoeverything:

Watsham indicated that Renegade Kid always had interest in creating a sequel, but wasn’t able to convince publisher Mastiff to move forward with such a project. While a new Moon game isn’t in development, Renegade Kid will be able to create a sequel when they regain the IP rights next year – if they so choose.

Cool, another possible 3DS title to look forward to.

Wonder if they're also thinking about a sequel to Dementium 2.

Moon is my favorite Renegade Kid IP. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game. As is EVERYone of their original IPs. The combined critic avg. of these original IPs(Mutant Mudds, Monkey Bomb, Moon, Dementium 1 & 2) is a very respectable 75% positive. And Renegade Kid is still a fairly young company so they continue to improve with every game released. Like their latest release, Mutant Mudds Deluxe, is their highest rated game ever at 85% positive. So any new game from this band of Renegade Kids is welcome on my 3DS

I can't wait for cult county, it looks like the horror game I've seen wanting on my 3ds lately

Amen brother. My comment above makes no sense, considering I meant to say Moon is my LEAST favorite RK IP. But seeing as how cool Moon actually is, that says somethin about the strength of their IPs

"it turns RPG conventions on their heads, including the trope of storming into someone’s house and going through all their stuff." What? Those are pretty typical RPG conventions. Anti RPG? Maybe, but not evidenced based on anything described in the article.

Waiting for Deltarune? Play These Games to Fill the Gap

As the wait for Deltarune continues, this writer wanted to offer her readers a collection of similar experiences. Considering Undertale’s beginnings as an Earthbound hack, this piece aims to explore some of what could be considered Undertale’s family — games that also began with RPGMaker, were inspired by Earthbound, share a similar ideology, and games focus on reactive stories. Additionally, this piece hopes to highlight some of the lesser known Undertale-esque works, the ones readers might not immediately find when sifting through Google’s suggestions. As an added bonus, these games are budget-friendly - several of them are even free! Others range from $5-20. (Many were included in the BLM bundle on Itch.io, both Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass and Anodyne from this list are included.) There’s something for every Undertale fan in this list, so hopefully you readers will find something new to ease the anticipation for Deltarune!
