Microsoft's next Xbox reveal event: what we're hoping to see

OXM - At the time of writing, there are four days and five hours to go till the announcement of the next generation Xbox - an object of fear, awe and reverence. This also means there's a gaping void of Xbox-related news right now. Join us as we shout into that void, filling it with our next gen daydreams.

I realize it wasn't a blockbuster, but I would be in line for another Crimson Skies. I would also love to see another Phantom Dust.

I would perform a number of dangerous task for a next gen Crimson skies

Crimson skies multiplayer still hasn't been topped really.

Possibly the most fun I've had online ever and this was year and years ago.

Sometimes those in control don't really "get" what we like.

They find Gold...and then never go back to that game style again, yet crappy game a,b,c get 3-4 sequels on every platform.

Why would anyone want a cable box/media apps and services with a game console. I think a game console should just be that a game console. If you can't even make a game console to the best of its ability way would you try to put all this other crap in there. If you want a cable box buy a cable box. If you want twitter and all that other lame media stuff, buy a smart phone or computer. I don't buy a tv to cook me eggs in the morning.

It's the 21st century why not have a console that can do it all? I see no issues with that at all.

Captain Qwark 93995d ago

So go buy yourself a Wii and stop bitching. I much prefer a game console with the added features. If I'm gonna drop several hundred dollars on something why not let it do as much as possible for me

cooperdnizzle3995d ago

Because the simple fact that the more it does the more they have to focus on things other than gaming. I swear people on this site are about as dense as a koi-pond. Hey we could spend money making more games, better games, better online services for our games, hire better developers for our games. Nope lets add a bunch of shit that has nothing to do with gaming. And yea i wasn't bitching just stating my opinion. Now go run to your mom and let here tell you how awesome you are.

Captain Qwark 93995d ago

Hard as this may to believe, I use my console for tv and movies every bit as much as gaming so I prefer that they spend money on both and I'm certain most console owners do otherwise the Wii would still be relevant. So again, go play your Wii and my mom and I will watch some tv together on my Xbox and after our shows I'll play some games since I can do it all....

cooperdnizzle3995d ago

Yep go play the one game that comes out for the console a year.

ichimaru3995d ago

Bad news bro, I don't think you're making the jump to the next gen. Both the ps4 nextbox and wii U have tv services. its called netflix

And I want a phone that I can only make calls on /s
