Microsoft has discussed its plans for next Tuesday's Xbox Reveal event, confirming that next week's announcement will be about "laying the foundation" and taking an "inside look at the making of the new [Xbox] platform and the team that's brought it to life," before revealing "tonnes of exclusives" at next month's E3.
One of the founding members of the Xbox team has questioned Microsoft’s multiplatform gaming strategy, and said they believe the Xbox hardware business is effectively “dead"
Think that rumor that they'll still make a new console but at a profit at $1000 will be true though. The series consoles will remain their cheap alternative throughout next gen I would say. Keep in mind that game pass and pretty much going 3rd party is their main focus. They want to bring xbox everywhere.
If they don't maintain some kind of console presence, I think they will lose gamepass subscribers and just become a 3rd party publisher who eventually sells everything off
Even if they could get it down to $800 for a box that can run with comparable performance to a PS6 (at, say $200 cheaper) the population of people willing to buy such a thing would be so limited.
It would be the worst of both worlds.
Well she's not wrong. Most of us agree Xbox's future is already on a path to nowhere..
Sounds like she regretted helping MS to compete with Nintendo and Sony in computer gaming business
They've tried, but died.
The best years I remember Xbox ever had were between 2008/9 to 2011.
(Ironically even then, when they've pushed software, they suffered a hardware flaw.)
They are definitely exiting the console hardware business the way they see fit.
But ultimately, Microsoft/Xbox are still going to try to push Sony Playstation out of business. I can already feel the next bitch move incoming.
Don't agree... best years were 2004 to 2008 with Halo 2, big E3 shows and announcements, exclusive titles, risky bets, support for the developers community, a friendly platform, innovation, catalogue and a lot to do with Xbox, as well as esports, indies, big titles, big partners... those were the years. After 2008 it was a decline and following others... nothing really to be proud of as a supporter of the Xbox ecosystem.
"Don't agree."
That's absolutely okay, and actually, your explaination is quite right.
In my thoughts I just came from from the direction of "the Xbox brand turning into a healthy business decision for Microsoft with growing reputation".
But ofc, looking from a fan perspective, your point of view is correct, too.
The majority of Microsoft’s push were third party deals, early content on third party games, marketing and advertising.
Take away their third party deals and they had next to nothing besides halo, fable, and forza.
That “push” of the 360 launch was all to gain market share… they succeeded, then cut Peter Moore and the rest is history.
I agree with both of you. Xbox best years where 04 until about 2011 when they started the whole kinect rubbish.
And I agree here, too.
It's no myth and ain't no legend of ill will - but it is what it is:
When the Xbox One was being prepared, their executives, driven by totally unrealistic, non-gaming related business decisions, failed 7 years of a console generation even before D1.
(And they did so again with X|S.)
That's life.
When I go too late to any appointment or even to a store, I can't blame anyone else but me if I'm not let in anymore.
which is sad, they have all the resources in the world and still.
its just ridiculous how badly they've been doing since and right after the 360.
@gold: “its just ridiculous how badly they've been doing since and right after the 360.”
.
.
They got struck with the 3rd console curse, a few things got wrong for ps3 and Xbox2/360 got in first and cheaper giving them a massive ego boost to release their 3rd console however they wanted regardless of their customers wish same for their 4th console (current).
I hope they eventually get it right although it seems now that big daddy(MS Corporate )got the credit card bill he’s is now approving everything and mom( investors) wants to see results fast it’s highly unlikely to see another console unless the next one is a MASSIVE SUCCESS in the like of the Wii or the switch. 🤷🏿
engagement farming
I have lost count of how many Xbox funerals I've attended over the decades.
Yet the Xbox keeps spawning new hardware somehow.
She doesn't need to engagement farm lol, she's literally one of the reasons the original xbox and 360 were so good...
Ofourse she needs views, anyone posting vids on youtube does, your using engagement farming in a negative way, like what she's saying has no merit because she has a youtube channel.... she has more knowledge of the industry than all of us commenting combined, xbox isn't what it was or what she helped build anymore, and she has a right to express it if she feels🤷♂️
Isn't that her point?
Also playstation posted a record breaking fy result, and announced their profits are higher at this point in the gen than all previous playstation gens put together... only ones been falling apart....not the industry.
Ofcourse they have, just like any company, if something isn't working it's axed, sad, not nice, but true🤷♂️
The simple fact is it's not the industry that's been struggling, it's xbox, that's why we have xbox games on playstation, everything is an xbox and this whole exclusives are bad narrative at the mo....
She made some fair points, but missed others. At Microsoft, “openness” means a multi-store ecosystem—not embracing open-source like Linux. And I’ve said it before: without exclusives, why buy a new Xbox? Other consoles offer stronger exclusives, and you can still play Xbox games elsewhere. Add in layoff rumors and the shift toward cheaper hardware via partners like ASUS, and it feels like Xbox is drifting from its first-party identity. As someone who’s invested in this ecosystem for over two decades, it’s honestly disheartening to watch.
I knew the Activision deal was going to cause ripples. I figured they would go third party publishing through Activision given the cost of the purchase. Like, it would take decades to make up the difference. According to Tweaktown, Xbox profits last quarter was only $790 million off $6.5 billion in revenue. That's roughly 11 cents profits for every dollar earned. I think the cuts coming this week or next week will seek to push profits up to 15 cents for every dollar earned. If Xbox gets up to $3.2 billion in profits per year, it will take about 20 years to pay for the Activision purchase. Xbox as we know it is gone. The whole Xbox everywhere advertisement was done to soften the blow.
With that said, Xbox everywhere is a joke. Xbox Cloud painfully slow, blurry, and artifact heavy. I've tried it on my TV using the Xbox app, on my Xbox 1X, and my Xbox Series X. All suffers extreme lag, macro blocking artifacts, and they were all blurry. Like, try Ninja Gaiden 2 Black on X Cloud. Wow, it couldn't keep up, and that game you need quick twitch response time. Indiana Jones was ok, slower game, but it was extremely blurry. I tried another random game I don't recall, and the lag made it unplayable. It felt like dial up lag from the 1990s. Unless they improve performance, Xbox everywhere is going nowhere. Maybe non gamers are ok with that level of performance? I certainly did not find Xbox Cloud performance acceptable and don't recommend it.
The writing was on the walls the 360 was Microsofts hay day. After the 360 things started to go down hill after the XB1 things really went down hill for Microsoft. Two major purchases, jacking up the price of an Xbox, Xbox not appearing on store shelves for months in some areas, being dead last in sales, Microsoft shutting down studios. Hopefully that Asus Xbox does well I am thinking about one. But if it fails I see Microsoft going the route Sega chose just skip the hardware and focus more on the software side. Use Xbox as a studio brand with Xbox studios appearing on games cases like Sony using Playstation studios on game cases when they port games to other machines.
They could only ride on paid exclusives for so long. That’s the only reason they were successful with the 360.
This is what happens when you don’t clean house. We’ve had the same stooges running Xbox for ages.
Honestly if Microsoft didn’t release the Xbox, PlayStation wouldn’t be as good as it is now. Xbox Live changed the way we played.. especially during the 360 era. Things evolved for the better overtime but that was the golden standard. Apart from that, the original Xbox came out with some nice things.. You could play and download your music to the Xbox and listen to it while driving around in GTA Vice City.. that was pretty cool.
Of course I remember Friday nights with friends playing Halo2 with 4+ Xbox’s connected together..
Had a good library of games.. Morrowind, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mech Assault and Panzer Dragon just to name a few that didn’t release on PS2..
So for Microsoft to come in like that and begin to become less and less innovative over the years to play things safe is a letdown, and that was the beginning of their downfall.
Toward the end of the 360 era they begin to focus more on being mainstream and less concerned about their core gamers.
From then I don’t know one thing that Microsoft brought to the table that was different from PlayStation. Just a lot of copy and paste.
Even as the company sets out to overhaul the very definition of Xbox, cuts at its studios risk creating a negative image reminiscent of EA's worst era
I appreciate the article but this guy must be living in a delayed universe, The reputation was ruined 10+ years ago and hasn't recovered since. As such people have voted with their wallets and stopped buying Xbox products in large amounts.
Their reputation was lost way before that. From the moment Microsoft said they entering the console business, we all knew it would be a downgrade.
That's not true at all the OG Xbox had drive and they had hunger and they wanted to accomplish something. It was a great console.
they didn't quite reach their goals and they gave up prematurely because they couldn't win. It was halfway through the Xbox 360 when kinect released and that was when they lost their way and we're a rudderless ship ever since
In all fairness, Xbox had some great games with online play, Xbox 360 even better. Xbox consoles started to die with the Xbox One. Ditch consoles for the PC and PS.
@Bathyj hard to compute ay. Xbox was never better than a PC and that's all they ever were. A demo box. Doesn't get more true than that.
Rumors of Turn 10 being either shut down or hit with massive lay offs is on the horizon.
The issue is MS will do something right only to do something very, very wrong. And they do this what seems calculative at this point. Doesn't matter what they do the Investors and leadership want more and more money an endless bottomless pit of purr insatiable greed. A company that acts like it's broke or hurting is what really, really infuriates me. They've surpassed apple again well over 3 trillion who acts like they're a million dollar company is fk stupid. Pivots and changes for no reason and can't do things for more than a year with out a pivot or changing their metrics.
That would be really bad since Phil just hyped up next year as a big Forza year at Summer Game Fest.
Isn't the point that it's irrelevant how profitable MS is, the suits have decided it's time that the Xbox division started making them money. Hence the layoffs, the pivots.
That wouldn't surprise me, as motorsport has been heading down hill since the great number 4. Where as playground have consistently put out better games. I think the two studios will be merged under playground games banner.
Phil Spencer, hero of the XBOX 360 era got fat and lazy with $$$ paid in salary, stocks, and bonuses. His priorities shifted to protecting his job and growing his wealth. He succeeded at that magnificently. Shame he screwed the pooch on the rest. #failup
That's just how corporations work, to be honest. To truly stick to what you believe in, you have to build your own company. But that's really hard to do, build a new hardware and software company. Phil isn't going to magically change Microsoft, let alone the shareholders who focus only on profit. Look at the UnitedHealth CEO who was forced out because shareholders didn't like the slip in shares by him not enacting the policies that would make them look even worse.
MS is worth as of today $3.70 trillion, you mean to tell me the Xbox side does not have enough money to keep these people from losing their jobs? I call this bullshit, you can smell miles away. All it is is pure greed.
Businesses are not charities. History is filled with corporate empires that fail to stay lean, optimize, adapt, and die. And then armchair quarterbacks talk about, “they should have done this, should have done that, they failed to change with the times, etc”. MS, like it or not, is a machine. It is a machine that is keenly aware that if you get complacent, the next competitor is hungry to knock you off the hill. Like it or not, businesses have to constantly scan their portfolios and make hard decisions on what is dragging the bottom line or underperforming. Failure to do so can lead to a slow spiral to failure…. Like thousands of other companies that are lost to history.
Mate. They've dropped massive, massive money acquiring entire publishers and have been doing the whole XGP Day One thing while investing heavy in AI and paying their execs hefty bonuses.... And to save money, you're cutting jobs? Really?
at this point, any apologia is just working backwards from a conclusion.
It’s less about saving money and more about trimming the fat so that they can invest that money into something that can make more.
But, it's $3.70 trillion lol. I'm sure the Xbox side alone has a huge chunk of that, way more than what Nintendo has in total which is about $110 billion, and when did they do any mass layoffs? If MS had only about what Nintendo has $110 billion net worth then yes, the layoffs are necessary.
Reputation? Nobody cares. The only thing that matters is shareholder happiness. Everybody else not liking the layoffs is probably a Sony cheerleader.
MS didn't buy up huge amounts of the industry to make it better or to better it's reputation with gamers, they've done it to extract as much value out of it as they can with already established IP's and publishers.
MS has proven growing and supporting the industry isn't what they care about.
Tell me how I'm wrong. MS spent 80 billion on gamings biggest publishers and has spent that time firing workers instead of growing the investment and the industry.
MS are the worst thing in gaming, an IP and wealth hoarder who see the industry as something to take rather than grow.
I strongly disagree that any company really doesn't care about rep. Yes or No.... putting games in more places will grow or not grow the industry? You make comment after comment crying about MS that its to the point you can't be objective anymore. Like it or not MS has been doing things pro consumer.
I must agree with the sentiment expressed here that reputation has been damaged for quite some time. However, must also call out the hypocrisy among the fans. Are we not the ones who recently highlighted numerous articles about how Clair Obscur 33 demonstrated to major companies the ability to create a true AAA game with just a small team, all while offering it at a more affordable price?
What the eff ever, this site was big pushing for Microsoft to buy ABK. Oh boo hoo Microsoft might tarnish its reputation...
How about some real criticism of their business practices for a change? How about an article saying how wrong it was to let Microsoft buy ABK on the promise of Game Pass funds when we all already knew Game Pass was losing money and being subsidized by Microsoft's other businesses.
What reputation? Reputation of being the worst thing to ever happen to console gaming?
If you told console gamers 20 years ago that a console manufacturer is going to pull the shit MS has pulled over the years, they would burn their consoles.
They spent the last 15 years rarely putting out games, when when they did the games are wrapped up in controversy and layoffs.
They had what? Deathloop, Indiana Jones, Forza, and Gears 5 maybe.
Also Hi-Fi Rush was a great shadow drop then Microsoft shadow laid-off the studio a month later.
The hardware is solid and has some great features but they fumbled the ecosystem; how it feels to be an Xbox player. Xbox players ended up feeling left out, left behind, and ultimately left the console.
Their reputation already in the toilet. They clearly don't give a crap (pun intended).
Wow, he really did run this site into the ground. Is Fishyfingers still around? I think there's less than a hundred users here now. Jesus.
It’s funny to say that when of the three main consoles Xbox is the only one steadily pumping out games right now. Most of Sonys success this year has been with formerly exclusive Xbox games. That’s just a fact anyone can look at the numbers and see that. Sort of weird to dunk on Xbox and then play their games in droves I.e. forza horizon 5 and Indiana jones.
All of those games are either old Xbox games or games from publishers they bought that were already being made as multiplatform games before Microsoft bought them. Publishers and studios which are now being gutted because of Microsoft mismanagement.
PlayStation owners are saving these studios by actually buying games.
If nothing else the Sony extremists can spin anything. Even South of midnight is better than anything Sony has put out this year. The truth his the Sony brass tried to go all in on games as service and they wasted 4 years on it and now they have nothing. They can’t even do their version of game pass right. It’s been a mess since nice the day Layton left.
Microsoft's reputation? It's had a reputation since the Xbox 360 RRoD, Xbox One launch mash up and forgetting about games for the Xbox One Series X. You could go back to Windows XP, after that, Windows died. Even Edge is rubbish. Who would want to pay into the next Xbox for silly money.
Xbox's downslide started with the Kinect. PlayStation 3 was still playing catch-up in 2010. They could've ruled the market but they decided they wanted that "Blue Ocean" money instead. Ignored their core audience that made them who they were.
Most good things in life are ruined by greed or stupidity. I often find that the two are closely intertwined. See: Xbox One.
The cuts are expected to be announced next week.
Microsoft is also planning thousands of job cuts that will impact other parts of it businesses
MFs has been beating their chests over great quarterly results and big profits to shareholders while firing people by the thousands just like Sony.
I wonder if at the top of those rumored layoffs they´ll also cancel upcoming or unannounced games while shutting down more studios as well.
Always got to throw shade at Sony smh.
Yes we get it,
MS good Sony bad
MS bad Sony is also bad lmao
F* them both!
Just for the record, I don´t care about your victim complex crap either. Find someone else who cares.
@Blacktiger
Im not offended , that’s just his formula lol
He can’t help help himself, he needs to bring Sony down when the topic involves MS.
Whether is good news for MS or bad, it some how leads to Sony doing bad lmao.
It’s actually hilarious.
He's not wrong but im tracking what youre saying. In this case is should just be MS bad. Thats a lot of people fired
"just like Sony"
Gosh you're insufferable, not everything needs to be both-sides'd. Sony's had layoffs, but nothing like what Microsoft has been doing and is continuing to do.
I mean, no offense, but this is why you’re not some corporate business person running a major corporation. Big profits don’t mean jobs are safe. Do you understand why things like this happen:
Cutting jobs to maintain or increase profitability, especially in underperforming divisions like parts of Xbox like other gaming divisions.
Corporate restructuring and relocating resources for strategic stability in ever changing markets and consumer behaviors.
Investor expectations and optimizing operations to maintain investor confidence. Whatever boosts stock prices and improves future margins.
And there’s many other factors at play. It’s never as simple as business doing well, everyone’s safe. That’s just you not understanding at all how corporations work and have been working since the beginning. This isn’t something that’s specific to Xbox, you can bet your ass Sony and Nintendo do this and if it’s not clear by now, game development is not a stable job nor has it ever been for many. A lot of developers are contractors and guess what happens when a project is done?
Nintendo said they have no plans for layoffs, and you can't seriously claim that the scale of Sony's layoffs most of which involved Bungie which is self managed as even close to the same scale as what Microsoft has done since they purchased Zenimax. And that significantly less layoffs would have happened if those publishers had stayed independent. Keep in mind that much of these layoffs have been due to redundancies specifically related to these buyouts.
@Ganif
Nintendo:

Sony:
https://gamerant.com/playst...
https://techxplore.com/news...
I don’t think it’s realistic to treat Sony’s layoffs as somehow outside the norm for the industry right now. Even if Bungie is self-managed, Sony’s cuts went far beyond that like Naughty Dog, Insomniac, London Studio being shut down completely, and multiple teams across the globe took hits. These weren’t just minor adjustments.
Nintendo, I had to look up and you’re right. They seem to be an outlier, but rest assured at some point it happens. And even then there’s been layoffs, albeit a smaller amount and contractors.
Would fewer layoffs have happened if studios from acquisitions stayed independent? Maybe. But even independents have been hit hard and look at what’s happened with Embracer’s fallout, or smaller devs like Digic, Roll7, or Volition. This isn’t just a “Microsoft problem” or strictly tied to acquisitions; it’s a broader correction happening across the whole industry, and unfortunately, layoffs are a big part of that process right now.
From your article:
"According to reports, Nintendo of America restructured its testing operations, leading to layoffs of about 120 contractors, part of a strategy for global integration.
Nintendo of America, publisher of iconic franchises like Mario and Zelda, is shifting some contractors to full-time roles for better development integration."
Contractors are not employees, and even if you want to count them as that, it's 120 people vs around 7500 since Microsoft purchased Zenimax.
In an era of game industry layoffs, Nintendo is hiring more people

And as for Sony you're comparing less than 1000 total jobs to an estimated7500
Has the industry faced layoffs, yes, but that still doesn't account for the mass layoffs due to redundancies that was easily predictable, or that fact that at least 1/3 of Microsoft's layoffs and studio closures happened before the industry downturn.
Take the L, Crimson.
People hate Nintendo, but Ganif proved why they deserve support.
It's like banging your head off a wall, he just can't help himself.
Microsoft can do no wrong, Sony sucks at everything and Nintendo is bigged up because it's less hassle than trying to defend Microsoft all the time
What's going to happen when Microsoft finally turn completely third party, then what?
Did you know that the first n4g was designed to be a perfect human world? Where none suffered, where everyone would be happy. It was a disaster. No one would accept the program.
I wouldn't be surprised at this point if anast and osbcure were both alts for the Admin.
We know how Obscure especially drums up additional comments and clicks with his spam-worthy remarks that somehow never get moderated
Thats business present a strong front to your shareholders while your company burns around you.
Keep shareholders happy at all costs andnif not happy keep them numb to the reality of you organisation
" Just for the record, I don´t care about your victim complex crap either. Find someone else who cares. "
Just for the record, you clearly you do if you have to vent this hard.
Basically you think like kids when it come to choose between candy or chocolate.
Well... if someone comes to your company asking for a job after being in the Xbox division for the past 15 years... Would you hire him/her? It can be seen as a not a very good trajectory.
When Microsoft lays off you got their defense force arriving to say well Sony lays off too. While yes sadly, but not as much and not from buying up major publishers and cutting jobs soon after. This will be Xbox’s 4th major layoff in 18 months.
Gaming industry all together has been rough for last 3 years. It’s not the same as it use to be. It’s harder and harder to rebound from a not well received game. You almost have to strike oil on every attempt.
Hopefully the entirety of 343 or whatever they call that studio now gets shuttered.
Pretty impressive to destroy a top 5 IP in less than 10 years and nobody seemed to really care.
The entirety of 343? They undergone major lays offs several years ago already but shutting them down completely will never happen. The fall of Halo is simply due to MS milking it every single gen. A milked game will get stale and eventually sour over time.
“The fall of Halo is simply due to MS milking it every single gen.”
Nintendo seems to disagree with the same IPs successfully released with every gen since I was a toddler.
343 took an established, massively popular franchise and blew it.
You can put Mario in another genres as a mainline release something that Nintendo has done well with no complaints from their fans. Halo had a RTS Halo that saw some success but they mainly kept it FPS because there old out of touch stuck in 2004 fanbase is too scared of change and largely got stale. 343 needs to re-invent or innovate with Halo and not worry about what a bunch of old ppl think.
Remember when Microsoft went to court and told their mom that buying ABK wouldn't lead to mass layoffs in their gaming division? Well I guess they also said things like they wouldn't create another tier for Game Pass or raise prices...
Bloomberg claims this is the fourth major layoff in the last 18 months, but of course there were around 2500 other cuts across multiple layoff rounds including closing Arkane Austin, Alpha Dog Studios, Tango Gameworks and Roundhouse Games after they bought Zenimax that wouldn't be in that list.
I mean really, letting them buy ABK proves yet again to have been a well thought out decision that clearly anyone would have had to have been crazy to criticize. Which, I'm sure, is why it wasn't criticized at all by any major publication.
Like I've been saying. They are going to streamline. Those AI mobile games are going to be off the chain.
LMAO!
And expect the mandatory and increased bonus check these holidays for ''i'M A gAmEr sAyS mY t-ShIrT'' Phil...
This is a serious moment, and it deserves to be treated as such. On one hand, gamers are hearing that we're hard at work on the next-generation Xbox—pushing the boundaries of what's possible, or so the message goes. On the other hand, there's a steady drumbeat of layoffs, raising tough questions about where the industry is heading and who gets left behind.
AI is rapidly becoming the unseen architect of the blockbusters to come—yes, even the Call of Duty of the future could be built less by teams of passionate developers and more by algorithms trained to optimize engagement. That shift doesn't sit easily with everyone.
And maybe that’s partly why people like Panos Panay and Phil Beliore decided it was time to step away. When innovation takes a back seat to quarterly returns—when vision is replaced by the safe, upward climb of a revenue graph—it’s fair to ask what’s being lost in the process.
This isn't just a story about tech. It's a story about what we value, and who gets to shape the next chapter.
MS is currently worth around $3.55 trillion, and they need to layoff? Think about that. The useless Governments around the world need to get off their asses and get involved and investigate, and see if these layoffs are needed, which really are not.
Makes sense. MS spent nearly 100 billion dollars to take Xbox from third place to third place.
phil needs to tighten those reins and that's exactly what he's doing, xbox would be dead if it wasn't for phil and his emails
Well what can one expect when you get all of the games “free” through GamePass?
I’m surprised this hasn’t been happening on a quarterly basis at XBOX, because ain’t no way they are making great profit with the Game Pass model.
At this point there's two guys left working on nextbox in the basement using two tin cans and some string for party chat
Yep saw this on Twitter. I'm not remotely surprised I even said the would still lay ppl off no matter how good they're doing. In facts they've been doing lay offs to since the year started and will continue to do so. Scummy, shitty, terrible greedy MS is what theyll always be.
Who didn’t see this coming when they bought 2 of the largest gaming publishers??
MS doesn’t care about most of the studios and the people they employ. MS wants the IP and a good chunk of the studios are seen as unnecessary after they gain control of their IP.
It was seen as some win for Xbox even though Xbox gamers would get those games anyway. It ended up the way many of us predicted, being bad for everyone.
This is a sad situation. I don't know why Xbox didn't roll back the prices of their consoles after China made a deal with the tariff.
That console is basically unsellable at this point because their main competitor was already Perceived as the default console and now it is cheaper.
Start with Phil. The Xbox division has been awful under his leadership. If not for Microsoft money, Xbox would no longer exist.
Phil should do a master class series on keeping your Executive job while failing for years. #noaccountability
It's TRAGIC that so many talented people within the gaming industry, Are been made redundant. Because multi-billionaires/ millionaires are putting increased profit. Before the very people. Who created the products that built up their global wealth. Unionisation should happen. To ensure this people's jobs are properly protected.
microsoft wants another console generation reset and wishing they'll win this time around
when will learn your lesson old man
Microsoft will use E3 to reveal more about the titles headed to the next Xbox, Greenberg says.
"E3 is all about the games," he continues. "At E3, I mean, if you're a gamer, it's going to be tonnes of exclusives, world premieres, and obviously even beyond that we have a lot to share between then and this holiday."
I didn't think I could get anymore excited...I'm about to wet myself with anticipation!
Megatons incoming!
I like what MS is saying about E3 being about games and having tons of exclusives
Pip pip, Microsoft's gone absolutely Bri'ish. Perhaps a spot of tea is in order.
Hmmm I'll believe it when i see it. How many of these 'tonnes of exclusives' will turn out to be Kinect shovelware?
I really hope they can bring it. I'll be very disappointed if most of those exclusives are kinect based. Bring your A game microsoft and blow us away.
