"A Link to the Past 2 is the 2nd direct sequel to possibly the best Zelda game ever made, and looks to capture the magic of the first game with a terrific new hand-drawn gameplay mechanic and 3D visuals."
This game is the reason I'm getting a 3DS. Do you guys think they'll release a custom 3DS for it? Should I wait to get one?
Rumors submitted in regards to the upcoming Zelda game on the 3DS, currently known as 'A Link to the Past 2'
to me link to the past was the best zelda game ever made but some people never played it back when it first came out so on snes so they like ocarina of time instead. i hope lttp isnt just a rehash and feels like a sequal thats worth playing.
LttP is my favorite Zelda. I played it on the GBA and loved it. Most of these sound believable.
I'm knee deep in Link's Awakening right now. Playing it on the original SNES with the SuperGameboy cartridge. Things really couldn't be better at the moment.
Producer Jason Michael Paul explains what to expect with this year's tour.
Yes. This game that hasn't come out, of which we know very little, is clearly the best sequel ever. It puts that one game you always see lauded as the "best RPG of all time," to shame.
It's way too early to even pose a question like that. If they're going to ask a question like that, at least wait until the game is completed and it's available to the public. Because without that, who are they asking? Obviously, we can't play the game at this point, and they've only played one level.
This is a trend I've noticed more and more this gen. A big game gets announced, and fans of that game or series make wild claims like "GOTY already" and such. I know it's just fangasming, but it's definitely become more noticeable to me over these last few years.
That said, there's obviously a big difference between people saying stuff like that in the comments sections and a major game site using that as a headline. But sadly it doesn't surprise me.
Way to early to make that call
