Knytt Underground Review | gamrReview

gamrReview: "So there you have it, a puzzle-platformer for the platforming purist, assuming that you don't mind some aimlessly milling about in underground caves and whatnot. The characters aren't visually arresting, but the world they inhabit, their stories and the gameplay are all highly compelling. I played this title before bed or while riding the stationary bike... And it worked great. Nice mechanics. Story was confusing as hell.

I'd personally give this game an 8/10 Whilst the quests are sometimes repetitive, it just feels enjoyable exploring and the characters and story is truly unique :D

Knytt Underground Wii U Review | RGN

Matt of RGN writes, "Knytt is at its core, a 2D platformer, but adds a large world to explore and gives the player abilities to solve puzzles and advance throughout the world, allowing the character to dash, fly and teleport, among other powers. Each chapter of the game involves different aspects of gameplay, with the first being an introduction to the main character, the second focused on a ball form, and the third combining both together. While frustrating at times during the beginning as you figure out how each power works and controls, once you’ve got the hang of it, Knytt Underground is absolutely hard to put down and each place you explore is a fun experience."
