Leap Motion: 3D hands-free motion control, unbound

Hands-free motion control, a technology pioneered by Nintendo's Wii and later improved upon by Microsoft's Kinect, just took a very big leap forward. Industries from gaming to surgery to architecture, engineering, and design may never be the same.

As much as I hate this motion crap I am impress.

QUESTION: Where is the camera and how many cameras does it use?

Also they must have super fast internet because when I i use google map it takes for ever ti render and i can never zoom in that fast.

just a sensor bar that sits infront of your keyboard (flat.... like a really cool track pad). hover your hand over it and the device can see it. so you wont for the time being be putting another camera ontop of your monitor.

So, this pretty much does what kinect does, but..it actually works? Nice.

Who's to say Microsoft won't input this type of technology into their Kinect 2.0 device, for the 720 (Next Box if you prefer)?

Either way, it's very impressive.

Because this has had 4 years of research, and the accuracy is from software and algorithms devised by a mathematician that were previously unsolved. It is also patented.

Microsoft can't just buy better hardware to make Kinect 2 as good as this. They can however, buy them out.

planetarian: Snow Globe review - ChristCenteredGamer

CCG writes - "I completed planetarian: Snow Globe in around 90 minutes. Thankfully, the price is very reasonable, and it can only go lower if they offer it on sale, making it an entirely fair value. Given the relatively short runtime and low price, it's a nice companion for fans of planetarian HD. I'm also pleased to say that the moral concerns are fairly light as well. If you enjoyed planetarian, then I'd say that planetarian: Snow Globe is worth your time. While you could probably play this one first if you must, I would probably recommend reading planetarian HD before this title."

As a kid i had some heart attacks playing this game. The soundtrack right on point with those close calls. I love this game.

shadowhaxor1m ago

Agreed. I still love it and play it often. Still sucks that Disney was like, nah... this game didn't do well, when it did well against other racers and reviewed well.
