-Tales of Graces f sold 127k but is not listed in global chart.

-Tales of Graces for a single platform outsold another namco game released the same day, the big licence MULTI-PLATFORM Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja STORM Generations.
60k(PS3)+44k(360)=104k

-what is more impressive is that ToG released the same week as very very hyped RPG(ish) game ME3.

-with the release of ToG in Europe in the summer, the game will be on track to double the lifetime sales in Japan (370k)

it was like Namco was trying to make ToG fail, but the fans committed, now its your turn Namco, announce Xillia.

If you look on the actual site you'll see the PC version selling barely anything, the 360 outsold the PS3 version 3 to 1 which isn't surprising seeing as how Bioware botched the PS3 version with crap framerate and other glitches, oh well.
Once again the PS3 dominates worldwide on the console front, and it isn't surprising the 3DS is dominating on the handheld front given its push of recent software.

Its great to see that the Nintendo 3DS entertainment console continues to top the charts. All of the hard work from the great hard working people over at Nintendo are tasting the fruits of their labor. Nintendo and Nintendo gamers worldwide should be proud of this ongoing accomplishment. Watching the Nintendo 3DS shape the future on a weekly basis.

With new AAA exclusive releases such as Kid Icarus Uprising, and many others. Lets keep it in our prayers that Nintendo continues to lead the industry forward as it has been doing this entire generation. Solidifying its spot as the most successful handheld of today. Setting the golden standard of what and how we play handheld games today, and how we will play in the future.

The better Nintendos numbers perform on the charts, the better us Nintendo supporters are rewarded. Rewarded with even more 1st and 3rd party AAA exclusives. Which is always a great thing. Things are looking mighty positive for Nintendo as a whole heading into E3 2012.

The others did a decent job as well.

dude use some common sense. it released in february. especially with so much competition around u think sony has high expectations. wait till the holidays when more games are already out and there are good deals for more people to jump in. there will be a call of duty, bioshock, prolly gta etc... during the holidays and if it fails then you can sing your vita is doomed comments. jeez some people just want things to sell like ipad in the millions the first couple of weeks..... . vita will be a slow burn just like the ps3 was.

You and others are also singing the same old song : "We Know Better Than Sony (What Sony's Expectations Are)". The thing released in February, not exactly the height of the spending season. Just like with PS3, the Doomsayers are out in force early, and just like with PS3, Sony isn't going away just because you want them to. I'd bet most of the Vita hate has to do with those PS3 and 360 numbers, which makes me smile.

PS3 is selling well however, I dont think anyone would have predicted that Sony would go from 1st last gen to 3rd this gen.

I'll bet you that Sony will be aiming to move up the ladder next gen as no matter how much they talk it up they won't be happy at losing so much ground.

A lot of PS3 owners may have passed on ME2 and ME3 because ME1 was never available on the system, so they never got to shape their own saga from the beginning, which is funny considering how that saga came to an end by igoring all those decisions. I would have jumped on board with ME2, but the gameplay of the demo killed all my interest in the series, so when the ME3 demo showed up I never even considered checking it out. The only way I'll be playing those games is if the entire trilogy plus all DLC shows up as a collection.

I actually convinced three people to buy a vita just by letting them play around with mine for a bit. One day I logged into near and there was 12 ppl in my area using a vita. The following week there were 46 XD. Never underestimate word of mouth.

That's what happened with me, too. When I got mine, there were about four people. A week and a half later, there were fifty.

The Vita's a great device, and its sales will improve over time, as all Sony products do, even without marketing. People will buy one for CoD on the go, along with all the other great titles that'll be coming out.

It's annoying that instead of just being glad something they like is doing well, people have to talk down the competition. It's like the site is full of elementary schoolers.

With PS3, PS Vita and PSP sales booming, the worldwide numbers show that the PlayStation brand is still in high demand as no other company has sold as many total units as PlayStation.

3DS wasnt selling bad, it just wasnt selling ENOUGH for Iwatas expectations and his inverstors.

3ds made great numbers but Iwata wanted MORE sales, better than great, so he cut the price to make that happen

Nintendo DID NOT cut the price because the 3DS was bombing (IT WAS MEDIA AND SITES LIKE N4G THAT SPREAD THOSE LIES)

THE 3DS WAS NEVER BOMBING, IT WAS BEATING THE NUMBERS OF THE OLD DS and the ds released on a HOLIDAY! AND 3ds still beat it out

3ds released after that huge earthquake, with no must have games, not in a holiday period at 250 (the highest a handheld had gone for) unfinished, no shop ready

AND IT STILL SOLD MORE THAN THE VITA ON RELEASE and the weeks following before the price drop.

3DS already proved that it did better at $250, than the vita is doing right now :/

yes the vita has more powerful hardware, better screen, better looking games, but somehow that is till not enough
