Will they listen and try to change it....what this gen has taught me is that Japanese developers are so proud that they don't care about what anyone else wants, they are always right and they don't care what you (the consumer) actually wants

Tuxedo_Mask4632d ago

After hearing from BioWare about DA2 and Ninja Theory about DmC I think you can take out "Japanese". A lot of developers don't listen to what the consumers want.

MrSpace4631d ago

Yeah but there worse....they started doing this way before some American developers did.

Tuxedo_Mask4630d ago (Edited 4630d ago )

The only ones I can think of that are Japanese are CAPCOM and to a certain extent SE, although I think SE is more or less just trying to figure out this gen rather than deliberately ignoring their fans. Konami really hasn't upset anyone until now.

Sticky__Rice4632d ago

It's not the original games without the original voice acting.

Arthas4632d ago

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
It sounds AWEFUL!
Theyve taken something that could have been so great and ruined the original experience. I hate to say it but I wont be buying this even though I really love Silent Hill. Damn...

kramun4632d ago

I'm glad I've got all the games already on pc, no need for this at all.

BubbleSniper4632d ago (Edited 4632d ago )

same here bro. Disable the cores through the Task Manager and your SH games run FINE on the PC.

BubbleSniper4632d ago

talk to Guy here and there on his FB. what the article says is pretty true. Konami needs to pay up! fkn bastards.

Word of advice Konami don't MESS with NOSTALGIA.

Capcom is already feeling the consequences and you dont want this type of press.

Since The Contra Revival Shows Konami Still Cares, How About A New Castlevania?

Hanzala from eXputer: "Contra: Operation Galuga is a classic revival done right, but why hasn't Konami done the same yet for the bigger and more popular Castlevania?"

shinoff218322d ago

Slowdown. Let them get these suikoden games done first. Alot of us are still waiting for those

XiNatsuDragnel21d ago

Castlevania fighting game for wii needs to be remade plz

Aphrodia21d ago

well, the new C ontra was made by Wayforward, who have been taking sooooo many of these classic franchises and making new iterations of them. Imo they aren't very good at it. And I don't see operation galuga being a large enough success to possibly give them Castlevania.

It’s almost like Metal Gear is a well known franchise

Horrible news more proof todays "gamer" is just a cow ready to be milked.

That mgs collection is no better than my ps3 copy but my ps3 copy has 0 server restrictions i always roll my eyes when reviewers or these new "youtube gamer" channels show off the information books on a webpage via a trash in game browser or the lack of controller support like it s a good thing.

Also GOG still has a better version mgs 1 or use the duck ps1 emulator.

Well time for the peace walker remaster pc port 480p 20fps needs a rtx 3090 or 6900xt to run with dunovo konami account then a govt id check.

just_looken78d ago (Edited 78d ago )

All the bonus content on the new collection needs a konami server to load them up if you pull your lan cord only the games will work but that is temp as those games are digital goods.

When i said digital i know there is a disc version games are on the disc i was referring to the pc version and the patches after the fact but yes ps5 has a disc version.

As long as it's not like Twin Snakes. And I hope they have the option to keep the original PSone voice tracks, which is a huge part of the appeal for me. The Twin Snakes voice tracks sounded worse, and had lame script changes as well.

Babadook7107d ago

Of Course. Go straight to the near perfect source.

porkChop107d ago

It's likely going to be handled just like Delta.

just_looken106d ago (Edited 106d ago )

Its probably like resident evil 2 remake.

for those that do not know fans remade that game until the garage scene but then was shutdown by capcom a few years later bam RE2 hd remaster.

Edit: compare this to what we got yes capcom uplifted the looks but you can see were the work came from

In 2016 fans used unreal engine up until the raven fight it was a full hd remaster square shut it down took everything so why not use there work.
