Feisty indie developer Fire Hose Games will be introducing their brand new title, Go Home Dinosaurs!, at PAX this coming weekend.
Described as a fun, new take on tower defense players will piece together weapons shaped as puzzle pieces - all powered by tiny mammals - in an effort to defend against the invading menace: dinosaurs. Tower defense, gophers with lasers, dinosaurs and meteor showers - how can you resist when BBQs need saving from enemy pterodactyls? The cause is just, folks, time to wage war.
Your character and abilities can level up by collecting and trading cards, "This game has it all, blending short, simple, easy-to-get-into fun with deep mechanics that keep things exciting and new." While platforms are still up in the air, according to Eitan Glinert, Fire Hose Games' Fire Chief, they're hoping for "some combination of console, PC, mobile".
If you'll be at PAX you can check out the game at booth 6408, in Indie Alley and next to the PAX 10. Anyone that knows me knows that I'm more than a little fond of the TD genre, so I look forward to getting hands-on with the game and telling you all how it's shaping up!

Outriders developer People Can Fly's next game has been canceled after its publishing agreement with Take-Two Interactive fell through.

If you're getting funding from a group that needs two different ways of Acronyming itself, things will not go the way you want them to.
No wonder Microsoft is exploring bringing its games to PlayStation 5
Play Xbox games here play them there. It's what they've been conditioning ppl for years now.
There own fault but I doubt they really care at this point.
Turns out when you put ALL of your exclusives on another platform (PC), people don't have a reason to buy your f***ing console. MS should just go 3rd party.
There fanboy brains are tanking as well same for media well there brains been gone
Saw a video of MS financial break down on YT. Basically MS has growth in services and usage is up while consoles are way down. The thing is, if it wasn't for ABK they would be flat, meaning no growth. Revenue was up 62%, good right? Yes again that 62% growth was bought by ABK. They bought that growth. As I said earlier with ABK they would have no growth just flat. Once again it's the acquisitions that's keeping MS a float this whole time. With out that, yeah they would be in trouble, which is just sad.
With loads of game announcements backed up going back as July 2020. Will their growth ever be from those many studios and games? I feel like MS is just getting lucky at this point. No big releases since October yet still seemingly doing well or staying more or less the same really, minus console sales falling. They buy their growth but I suppose that's the point of acquiring studios.
Gray Zone Warfare is fast-becoming one of the most exciting shooters of the year. Here's everything you need to know about it.
Thanks Cat for supporting indie developers!
Slam Bolt Scrapper wasn't really my cup of tea, but I'll definitely check out Go Home Dinosaurs! Some of my favorite "on the go" games are from the TD genre. GeoDefence was great!
Will there be a multiplayer mode in GHD?
Cheers,
P.S. Cat, please try to get eitanglinert back to answer our questions.

Didn't you post this as news an hour ago?

Free beer! Where?
...dammit I got tricked again.
@ Criminal: We'll probably have some form of multiplayer in the game, but to be honest we're still pretty early in development and haven't figured out the scope of the game yet. So I can give you a definite maybe!
TD? I'm in!
Eitan, please tell me this is coming to console (preferably PS3 and 360)!
I think Cat is addicted to cute looking indie games. Will have to see how this turns out. I'm usually a very supportive person when it comes to indie games, unless they are really bad. :/ Need more info, but I'll definitely keep an eye on this.
