Bavaria, a state in Germany, has decided to veto against the 18+-rating from German classification board USK. That means, that the rating board hast to repeat the testing process. USK has to rate Dead Space 2 again - for the sixth time, as EA rep Olaf Coenen told PC Games in a press release. Therefore the release of Dead Space 2 at the end of January 2011 not only is in jeopardy, but USK could decline a rating this time. EA started a petition to protest against this unheard-of development.

There doing the same on starfield with a mods store and blocking mods
There goal is like blizzard and what they did with fallout 76 you make mods they can sell and you become a slave.
On skyrim they have "trusted" mod devs now basically a badge that lets your mod on the store you get a crumb of the sale when someone buys it.
lol to the disagrees, the last Skyrim update broke mods too. They've been trying to kill mods to monetize them in creation club for years, it's not a stretch that they purposely put out patches just to break free mods.
The disagrees are from people who have common sense. They aren't trying to kill mods. Most mods for any game will break with a new update because they rely on files/code that have been changed. This isn't new. Even with Bethesda this would happen way before the creation club. Mod support is literally one of the things that got Bethesda to where they are, and they're one of the only devs that releases comprehensive mod tools for each of their games.
Over 14 GBs and doesn't change much at all? What? Taking up that much drive space for a pathetic 'remastering' is shameful.

one state isnt going to prevent the game from being sold in all of germany. look at all the games that allowed you to play as the nazis that got released in germany. You think they are going to ban dead space 2 cause its a little 2 disturbing for them when they can tolerate people playing as nazis?
I won't go into what the nazi's did, or the ss squad. It's actually alot worse then ds2.
But seriously games like this do need to be banned from children. I know alot of parents let kids play GTA4,COD black ops. And i mean kids. This is a horror game and meant to scare.
But to ban completely is stupid.
I hope this doesnt happen. This is looking to be a fantastic game.
