ZeroTolerance writes: The Capcom versus series has always been among the most popular in the genre. Wii owners have been denied the glory of being able to experience one of these games, or just about any good fighting games since the console's launch. Capcom is remedying that with their latest release Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. Now when you hear the name you are likely confused unless you are a huge fan of anime, specifically old-school anime. Tatsunoko is not exactly a household name anywhere outside of Japan. In fact some people thought this game would never see the light of day over here due to licensing issues. Thankfully everything worked itself out and now Wii owners have a fantastic fighting game that they can truly call their own.

Are you one of the understandably many who has sworn off MvCI because of how it's being handled? Or are you still interested in giving it a shot purely on its gameplay?
I was a bit disappointed with the demo. The art direction is one of the reasons I loved the series. It always looked so awesome to see animated sprites that looked right out of a comic book. Even MVC3 had the comic book appeal. Honestly, I am with everyone else, that DBZ fighter looks amazing...
character models for some of them are not great but the gameplay is solid af..the infiniti gem system is great and at least it has some type of story...but i understand the disappointment..no spiderman/xmen is terrible also
Jumped ship is going a bit too far but after that demo I am very cautious to see how the final product is. Will wait for feedback before I Purchase said product.

The event was originally posted by Famitsu, and Shoryuken translated the information. The event will open on April 21 and last until May 7, and it’ll be held at the Aqua City Mall in Tokyo. Both companies are collaborating to celebrate their milestones: Tatsunoko’s 55th anniversary and Street Fighter‘s 30th.
