VampHuntD writes "I've been waiting to write this not to protect the guilty, but because I'm a reasonable person and I've given several chances to stop this from being written. To get to the point, the dreaded YLOD has claimed yet another victim, yours truly. This will be an ongoing piece until a resolution has been reached, a YLOD journal if you will. Allow me to fill you in on what has transpired thus far."
Gary Green said: We have a juxtaposition of 2D and 3D visuals, flashy turn-based combat, quirky anime characters with cheeky dialogue with plenty of partial nudity; Yes, this is a Compile Heart JRPG. Whilst the engine is borrowed from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Mugen Souls is more of a Disgaea spin-off. It’s not a strategy RPG as such, it merely sits within Disgaea’s ever-expanding universe (Multiverse? Netherverse? Your guess is as good as mine). You won’t find cameos though, since Mugen Souls is a franchise which aims to stand on its own two feet.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
I feel bad for people who get the YLoD, but I laugh at their efforts to try to make it out to be as bad as the RRoD or the other various 360 hardware issues.
The file format is proprietary Silellak, which is one thing I think has prevented the PS3 from getting hacked into. Still, the claim that NO PERSON can solve it is dumb, considering they built the system.
yeah backing up is important too and I'm glad you have the option to do so, but should you backup after every game session? That would be easier if you could choose what to back up rather than having to do the whole system as well.
Is this article even about the YLOD??? It appears to me that it is actually about poor customer care, and a lack of knowledge within the basic levels of sony corp.
My first ps3 (40GB) busted on me 14 months after I bought it, I called in (after my warranty) and they replaced the blu ray drive FREE! I feel bad for the author as I have dealt with terrible cx service. But other then the opening paragraph the article has nothing to do with YLOD!?!?!?!
I really hope this does not happen to me. I have a lot of stuff on my 60 gig PS3 and do not want to lose my PS3 and my things. Does the YLOD happen because of dust or is it over heating?
