Apple Releases Safari Web Browser For Windows

Apple has announced that it has released a beta version of its Safari web browser for Windows XP and Vista operating system. The browser can be downloaded at Apple's web site which claims it will bring up web pages twice as fast as Microsoft's Internet Explorer 7.

It is nice! Bookmarks and history is crashing for me, it can't render N4G correctly. Default fonts settings are ugly.
I think I'll stick with good ol' Firefox. :)

firefox.

Anyways if i get safari envy, i can probably get a safari theme for firefox.

It does open tabs faster then IE 7 but like TnS said default fonts are not up to par with IE7. I think I may stick with it for now though.

Wow I never knew most of those exsisted. Again though I really do like the Safari browser. It loads so much faster in IE. Its almost like I have a faster Internet connection.

So,your point is... choice is bad? Or competition is bad?

I don't see what you're whining about. If the news doesn't interest you, just move along.

Well... good for the end user... sucks for us... web developers.. now we have another browser to check javascript compability, ajax, css, html, divs, etc. I just tried the damn browser... some web pages do not work... there seem to be a javascript issue... and how the heck do I enable javascript console on this thing!? anybody knows? Is it possible to debug javascript on this?
