On Friday, Ubisoft announced Dawn of Discovery: Venice, the add-on for the PC version of Dawn of Discovery, a runner-up for PC game of the year in the Gamers' Choice Awards. Dawn of Discovery: Venice will combine the signature gameplay mechanics of the series and the richness of the Venetian culture with an all-new online multiplayer mode which supports up to eight players.
In addition, Ubisoft announced Dawn of Discovery: Gold Edition, which will include the original Dawn of Discovery and the add-on.
Dawn of Discovery: Venice improves upon the already successful city building simulation game by adding new combat options and online multiplayer. These types of complex games truly shine when the myriad options create flexibility in how a player can adapt to a situation, and in how they allow the player to think creatively to solve problems. Venice's features compliment the original game and add even more variables to an already deep system.
