IGN recently posted a trailer of the upcoming ArmA: Combat Operations. This preview is looking good for this promising game.
GamerZines writes:
Bohemia Interactive has announced that this weekend the majority of the ArmA series will be available for half price, via the developer's own digital store.
If I had anything close to a decent PC, I would be all over this. Arma II is f@cking awesome.

Artillery
Howitzers and mortars provide decisive long-range support to advancing troops. Many artillery pieces are capable of firing special ammunition, such as flares or laser-guided rounds, or even to lay down a smokescreen.
I tried the demo, and it tries so hard to be realistic that it makes actually showing up in Iraq with a rifle look like it would be fun by comparison.
Not to mention the absolutely absurd voice prompts- dialog comes in phrases usually comprised of words carried out by different actors with completely different inflections.
Altogether, it just isn't as fun as that trailer makes it seem.
