What a crappy article. All I can see is "I can typing" like the guy on the right here:
https://i.chzbgr.com/maxW50...

For example: Mike " Tomb Raider, for example, is essentially an Uncharted game in terms of gameplay."

Andres used "funnest" and "double entendre" yet no double entendre is used.

What is this a high school website?

capitanandi3755d ago

The double entendre is Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS which can be read as Super Smash Bros. "Four" Wii U/3DS, cause you know, it's the fourth game.
"Funnest" utilizes the superlative form of the base word "fun", which is acceptable in most varieties of the English language which is constantly being molded and tweaked. Also, it's okay if you disagree that Tomb Raider and Uncharted are not alike. Oh, and you missed a few instances of punctuation there, sir. Have an lovely day, and thanks for reading!

double entendre
ˌduːb(ə)l ɒ̃ˈtɒ̃dr(ə)/
noun
1.
a word or phrase open to two interpretations, one of which is usually risqué or indecent.

Cant say that the sentence in question is risqué or indecent, its just poorly written

"Have an lovely day..."

Go back to school, Andres. :|

Other uses of the word "fun" you might like to include next time:

"Much more funnerer"
"This series needs more funnerisaion"
"If you don't like this, you must be a funnist"

^Not being "funny", just helping you out... ;P

@G20WLY
I totally get that I could have used a more sophisticated word, but, at the end of it all, that's hardly the point of the article. I mean, I wrote about why I'm excited for Smash Bros., not an analysis on the prose of John Milton.

Thanks for your input anyway. All that aside, I'd much rather hear what games you all are excited for this year!

G20WLY3754d ago

^You just outclassed me, and for that, you win my respect :)

Looking forward to Destiny. Not a big shooter fan, but this seems more sophisticated than the usual rubbish.

Also: Witcher 3, Infamous: Second Son, The Order 1886 (early impressions), Thief and any decent RPG, whether Zelda, Persona, Ni No Kuni, etc. 2014 looks good :)

thorstein3754d ago

Sorry, Andres, but Funnest is not acceptable in any form of English. To improve articles, all you need is someone trained in the English Language. And you have already been corrected on the correct use of double entendre.

The term is called proofreading. The job is called copy editor, as in, one who edits copy. It isn't hard to do when you write an article to have it proofread and revise it before publishing.

This is what professionals do. You shouldn't be any different.

As far as the gaming goes, I would love to see the next Uncharted. Naughty Dog is on fire right now.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing692d ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy852d ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
