IGN: "I seriously love Dead Island Riptide for its satisfying zombie dismemberment and co-op, but technically, it's done nothing to build itself into a great game. Rather than fix the graphics and the performance problems that plagued the original two years ago, Techland slightly modified the setting and delivered a new character and more content. It’s a fun time, but there are no surprises or killer new features to make it an impressive package."
Carlos writes "We’re back once more to take a look back into the history of Xbox to unearth games that released many years ago, allowing us to celebrate their anniversary. This time around the game we’re looking at is Dead Island: Riptide."
Utomik - the “unlimited play” monthly subscription gaming service - expands its games library with several games from publisher Deep Silver, including Dead Island Riptide and Metro 2033 Redux with many more.
Microsoft is ending June with a bang, a lot of games are going on sale this week. But only if you have an active Xbox Live Gold membership.
I wasn't excpecting higher scores but I'm still very disappointed. With Dead Island, they had the basis to make an insanely better game but appearently didn't take the opportunity. That's too bad. I might still enjoy this one, as much as I enjoyed the first flawed one.
What I'm getting from theses reviews is that, if you enjoyed the first one with all it's problems and graphical style, this game is the same and you might like this one as well.
A new character, new setting and more weapons. I just hope that save bug is not in it again.
The bad ratings this game is getting means nothing to me! My copy from, amazon has already shipped. Loved the first one. Gonna love this one too.
I'm going to give this one a miss. The first game was decent, but was plagued by bugs and glitches.
such a good concept this team has or rather had, yet they fail to listen to their fans or much less the whole gaming community and release the same crap :/.....another dev should take this idea and copyright it to create the true dead island, this team is obviously going to pull a call of duty and release the same crap every time.
