Diehard GameFAN: Bloody Vampire Review

DHGF: There are a lot of games out there that try and provide the experience of games that we enjoyed playing in the past, games that are meant to either trigger nostalgic feelings in those of us that are old enough, and made with a simple and clear design to be enjoyable for those of us who didn’t have the joy of growing up on 8 and 16 bit consoles. When done well it can provide for a great video game experience that also fondly recalls some of the classic 2D games. When done poorly it can be a kick in the rose colored glasses and a reminder that the amount of bad 2D games in the past far exceeded the number of good ones.
