Gaming Trend: "What happens when you mix an Oculus Rift development kit, the Unity game engine, and a couple of developers from CCP with a little extra time on their hands? The answer to this question happens to also be my favorite experience of E3 2013, and that is a space dog fighting game set in the EVE universe: EVE-VR."
The Oculus Rift headset has been making quite the impact in gaming as of late. Its ability to display a clear 3D image that wraps around the user's vision and submerge them into the experience has delighted many players. So far the support for the device seems to be tacked onto existing games. While the effect is good in those titles, it pales in comparison to EVR, a new title from CCP, the creators of EVE Online.
I get the sense that the Oculus Rift is going to be highly dependent on how many games are made that really make good use of it. It's almost like a console in that sense.
The Rift is my true next gen device,
Hopefully it turns out well they certainly have got enough support.
i love this device i cant wait to get 1 and i hope ps4 support it
we should launch a #drm type op on twitter to get sony to add support

"What a wild week it was. It started early Monday morning and ended with a ton of surprises by Thursday evening. Along the way we had hardware announcements, game reveals, and breaking news. The SideQuesting team saw many many many (many) games last week, and we’ve had long discussions and funny GIFs trying to figure out which were our Editor’s Choices for Best of Show. Next Gen blockbusters and Indie darlings receive awards."

I can see the interior of the small fighter, details in the hangar, and even if the graphics aren't that spectacular - there is a real sense of having been transported to an alternate reality."
