Spaceteam Review | EuroGamer

EuroGamer: "This is multitasking under galactic pressure, making you constantly shout instructions while trying to work out if the Lustruous Prismneck someone else is bellowing about is on the dashboard. If this sounds like chaos, that's about right, and fantastic chaos it is. This is about working together and ribbing your chums after it's all fallen apart - because in Spaceteam, everyone hears you scream."

Top 4 Free Mobile Hot-Seat Multiplayer Games

Ashley from Bit Cultures writes: "Why four and not five? Because I don’t play by the rules, not even my own. But, in all seriousness, I chose my top four FREE mobile “hot-seat” (aka local) multiplayer games that you can play while sitting in the same room with your friends. Because, who communicates anymore, anyway? In order to play, each of your friends has to be connected to the same wireless network, and have the game installed on their device."

4 player splitscreen on shooters, racing games must be a norm since forever. Don't know why developers abandon this feature in most modern games. Also slitscreen coop is always an amazing experience with a partner, family, friend etc.

Forza, Halo, Gears and Fable have another thing in common besides being part of the core MS games, they all feature local multiplayer.

DualWielding3623d ago

local multiplayer has not gone anywhere, it is just the split screen that is no longer viable for technical reasons that has screwed local multiplayer for shooters and racers but the Fifa's and Tekken have never stopped being played locally

I hear you! Taking turns with pair play in Tekken tag2 has never been so fun, especially with friends & family. Tekken did co-op right!
