Sony Pulls UNO As Yet Another PSN Game Is Used As Homebrew Exploit On Vita

The cat and mouse chase between hackers and Sony continues, as Gameloft’s PSP game UNO is the latest game to be pulled from the PlayStation Store by the platform holder under fears it’ll be used to circumvent security.

All they do is take the game off the store, patch it, and put it back. Just like the did with all the other PSP games that were exploitable.

And before someone goes "they're taking away stuff you pay for", they aren't. If you paid for it, it's still in your download queue.

No they don't. They take the game off, release a firmware which adds the game to the blacklist (the hacked saved data) so when the firmware comes out, you can't run the hacked saved data.

And another correction, your last argument is invalid. They do take it off your download queue sometimes.

I respect what you're saying, but you may want to look into the facts just a little more before you make assumptions

Then tell me why when they took off Motorstorm artic edge the store.for the same thing, I still had it in my download queue?

Edit- Ok, I see a disagree. But what I DON'T see is anyone telling me why a game that was pulled off for a patch fix (Motorstorm Artic Edge) was still downloable in my download list and playable even while it was taken off the store for said patch.

The download Q stays from what i've seen and heard ... if it removes it "sometimes" it must be on rare occasions.

They cant patch the game. They block the exploit in the FW not in game.

I dont think they just pirate the game uno, I think they use uno to hack the vita, there was a similar hack on the psp using a Lumines game save.

these hacks dont give access to the main PSVita core files only to the PSP emulator....

until yinfalu and some other dude (i forgot his name) brings the user mode to the field, thats when $h!t gets real.
