I have been to multiple stores this morning doing last minute gift shopping, and have seen plenty of both consoles on shelves. I really think both companies are paying the media to say they are sold out. there is no way there would be that many consoles on shelves and continuously get reported sold out if they weren't. I will post pics soon for proof maybe tomorrow for now I'm going to enjoy the rest of my christmas I counted a total of 87 PS4's and 93 xbox ones from 7 different stores.

I think when you hear Microsoft our Sony say "Sold out" they mean that their inventory has all been bought by the retailers and they have no more to ship/sell to stores.

Nitrowolf23774d ago

this also goes without saying that retailers aren't holding out on consoles for days like this, or their shipment of consoles are being sent at certain intervals.

I don't recall Sony claiming the PS4 was sold out. They've only been focusing on shipping as much as they can to the territories they're releasing in.

I've seen plenty of both at a variety of stores, but the truth remains that different individual stores are going to have varied stock levels.

I went to a best buy that had like 19 xbox ones and no ps4s. So that best buy was sold out of ps4.

I also went to a target that had quite a few ps4s, and just 1 xb1, which was in the process of being sold. So that target was indeed sold out of xb1.

I don't think anyone is paying the media, or that the media is being dishonest, I just think we the readers can't comprehend that something can be sold out at one place, and be in stock at another.

I'd be careful buying from target considering what just happened.

What happened?

EDIT: Jeez, Yeah I would keep away from them like the plague with any type of card details and such...

brich2333774d ago

Target got hacked. Someone Stole credit and debit card data from 40 million accounts.

lildudexst3774d ago

yeah that why nobody touching target.even with ps4 in stock. i'm not bringing 400$ in cash. I might get robbed.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing692d ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy852d ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
