I'm sort of in the market for a new handheld for my son. Do you miss the flip feature the DS had, would you rather have the 3d that the 3ds has?

I hated the 3D, to be honest. I rarely used it. Only for cut scenes. the flip feature doesn't bother me either. I like how its all ONE screen, the color temp stays the same. It's really a solid hand held. He'd love it.

I heard this thing has a diff comfort grip than the 3DS, like it was a whole new machine .

Comfort matters most over gameplay and grafix, for COMFORT determines the outcome of gameplay.
