Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) recently launched an inspired marketing campaign for their aging PlayStation 3 console, pushing the system as an established platform in the face of the impending PlayStation 4 release. Aimed at families and audiences who like their gaming on a budget, the campaign has today ramped-up a gear by adding new titles to an existing trailer.
The GTA 5 Agent Trevor DLC episode could have been a real treat for fans on PlayStation and Xbox, before it was scrubbed sometime before 2017.
With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.
I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.
Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder
One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
Grand Theft Auto V was released on PC on the 14th of April 2015. That means the game will be nine years old in four days, and it’s still among the most-played titles on Steam. With a 24-hour peak of 145K players, it’s as popular as Baldur’s Gate 3, Apex: Legends, and Destiny 2.
The freedom to explore large areas, approach objectives in multiple ways, and stumble across amusing distractions will always be an excellent format for video games, but some do it better than others. To celebrate the formula and parse the best from the best, have a look at the best open-world games of all time so far.
"PS4 can't run PS3 games , but now is the best time to own a PS3" sony's logic
Great console with a great back catalog of games but even with upcoming AAA games I wouldn't recommend to anyone to buy a "last gen" system.
Save up some more, buy a PS4 and enjoy upwards of 8 years entertainment rather than the few you'll see from the PS3. Plus, you can always play the PS3 heavy hitters on your PS4.
Pretty nice hook, with the inevitable drought of PS4s to come, you sorta might as well. Tonnes of decent exclusives to snap up and play while you wait for the second wave of PS4s to ship. Actually owning both a PS3 and PS4 this year you're going to be overloaded with current gen and next gen games to play.
My bank is already sobbing.
ps3 will still be getting played in couple years time in my house anyway. awesome games i missed out on still need played.
Not everyone can afford a next gen console and with such an amazing backlog of amazing games and great upcoming games now is definitely the best time to own a ps3,if the ps4 wasn't getting sold out across the board I wouldn't mind sticking to ps3 a bit Longer.
