"Unlike Achievements, Challenges can apply to multiple titles (extending beyond games to apps) and can be earned by groups of players, working in tandem. They also don't earn you any additional Gamerscore."

Would be nice if people actually read anything before commenting.

You don't get gamerscore from challenges.

Describing any part of a console or its software as supercharged is just daft when its a method of forced induction.

As if turbocharged entering the vernacular wasn't bad enough with the Cillit Bang guy....

Its just modified/new achievements....

Bro, it is thanks to the super power of the super cloud, so it's supercharged achievements, alright?

@ Animal Mutha 76

Perhaps you should read the article before posting snarky comments.

The representative from MS never once uses the phrase "supercharged".

Animal Mutha 763928d ago

Er I did, and whilst the Xbox guy didn't describe them as 'supercharged' the author of the article for OXM did, so my observation is still valid.

As for snarky I had to look that one up as its not the Queen's English you know.

From the Urban Dictionary:

snarky

Sounds about right - cheers ;)

From the Urban Dictionary:

Snarky

Most dictionaries label snarky as "Chiefly British Slang". (So actually it IS the Queen's English, you know.)

Sarcastic or disrespectful; snide.
The act of being sarcastic, bitchy, disrespectful, irritable, or short-tempered
...snotty or arrogant attitude.
...abrupt and out of context.
...sarcastic and cynical.

Sounds about right

Hmmm you're right it is in the OED. Just not my hard copy but on the internet.

I still agree it sounds about right...;-)))
