US PSN users can now add funds through PayPal

In October, Sony launched a new PSN payment option in certain European countries. Funds could now be added to users’ wallets via PayPal.

When PSN got hacked credit card data was a big concern for Sony. We know this because Sony said so.

Sony never said CC data was compromised. In fact they said it was encrypted. But, you're of the FUD camp that spreads misinformation and lies. The only thing Sony said MAY have been compromised was stuff like your address. In other words, public domain material. They sent messages out to everyone as a precaution even though CC data was encrypted, and NO ONE came forth with any legitimate claims against Sony and if they had, Sony would have been willing to provide up to 1 million in insurance for their losses.

So, again, children without a Credit Card shouldn't talk about the grown up world involved in owning one.

Quite frankly, this really should have been implemented years ago, especially during the time when North America was having supply issues with the PSN cards. What the hell took so long Sony?

I was expecting this to be integrated into the PS3 not the web, but oh well at least we're able to transfer money into our accounts. But hopefully in the future we would be able to do it from our PS3s.

added $25 to my account,about 4 hours ago. it still hasnt registered in my account. there's a message saying "There may be a delay in processing the transaction." no s**t.

i hope its just a delay in the network because everyone sign in back in.

i normally use a website to buy my psn cards digitally, i use "jerry cards". if you have a paypal account you receive the card in less than 15 minutes.

Can you put any amount in the store through Paypal. Like $2.

Nope. Only increments of 5, 10, 20, 50. I had the option of filling my wallet until it amounted to $150 as well.
